6 Classifications or 7 classes with 6 minimum schools per region in Football. Hard to do that in NE Mississippi where you 10 or 12 non football schools in 1A.

The root of the problem is the lack of home raising, teaching the dangers of a gun, etc. Teaching that its ok to behave as a gangster, etc, etc. Failure of the school to stop the suspect at the gate like they did us last year at South State. Your not going to stop a person from bringing their gun, alcohol, weed, etc to the game. Somethings are better left at home or in the truck in the parking lot. The bottom line is what triggered this. My guess is according to the rules those arrested and convicted can be banned from school campuses that is once they have served their sentence. If the district passes a new rule and then its adopted in Clinton chances are your not going to tailgate going forward. You can bring in counseling if needed.

No rules on the term tailgating in the Handbook other than safety, security, and behavior of the spectator.

MHSAA can only enforce rules regarding sports and band, chorus, etc on campus. I know for a fact that checked everything last year at South State. The gunman had to be let in after the game started or finished.

When Raleigh played them they were like 3 tents maybe and 60 people in the stands. That shouldn't mater much if you can't get fans to the game in the first place.

Give both a forfeit if its a regional game and let the points lie where they may. Charge them both a loss of revenue fee.

When the director spoke Monday he put what could be back on the schools before he and the council is forced to end someone's football season, make fans angrier, etc. make rules that you don't want.
