New School will be on 120 acres butting up to Old Magnatec parking lot. Both field goals kickers will be able to kick thru 2 field goals at once.
-
Next thing we see is 5-5 Tupelo being seeded #1 hosting 7-3 #4 Warren Central
-
I should have added St Stanislaus. You will have a new Region 6 that includes JDC and Seminary
-
Region 8 will be 3 teams in playoffs when OLA and St Patrick are placed with Say Perry Central, West Marion, and Seminary/maybe Columbia if they drop down.
-
St Patrick dropping football or going independent.

They already play Resurrection. If any 2A openings it's at the start of the year. Looks like Alabama or Louisiana schools if they have openings. There goes Morton to 4A in 2023 and another if St Andrew's remains Independent. -
They will add 7 in current 4A to new 5A. They will also add 2 in 3A to new 4A.

JDC and St Stan have posted open dates at MHSAA web site for those Fridays on playing St Patrick -
JDC and St Stan with open dates
-
3A 41 schools 2A 42 schools 1A 48 schools Makes all the sense
-
That would leave 3A with 39 football schools and 2A at 38 football schools under the 7 classification plan.
-
OLA and St Stanislaus are listed as 2 separate schools in the classification numbers. That's why I said will Hatley move up or there be only 4 football schools in Region 8.
-
It all corrects itself after Magee/Mendenhall consolidates and Yazoo County drops down to 3A in 2025.
-
If you pull JDC north to Region 6 then Crystal Springs, Raleigh, Forest, or Union heads north.
-
Only 2 3A schools go up to 4A
-

If 3A and 4A only has 39 and 38 football schools will 1A be dropped to 48 schools.
