Again I don't know the break down of SPED students. I feel like Jim Hill and Brookhaven can drop down.

I can't say where it came from. It was with the list of changes of going to 7 classes. I believe it is the October 21 numbers for 9th-12th grades. It may or may not have been passed out at the MAAA conference in January. I did a little research up down the Class splits say 5 to 8 schools. Of course parochial schools including St Joe are not on MDE neither is Williams. My research is 8th-11th grade. There will be some more changes to the list.

I agree. It goes back to playing local schools at least 1 or 2 depending on the class and region. Some coaches will not play local schools because of getting whipped badly. Few will want to play Taylorsville, Bay Springs. or Raleigh. Went years without playing Bay Springs. I want to see Rankin Counties big 3 play Jackson Schools to fill those openings. I anticipate they will continue to play Madison Counties big 3.

Trust me St Joe along Williams School. I don't know which St Joe. Thought someone might know. Williams I thought was in Holmes County. I knew they consolidated. I googed Williams School in Mississippi. Raymond popped up. My guess is it's Oakley. Maybe they play E Sports or something. My guess is maybe neither will be put into Regions. St Joe is 2A and Williams 1A.

They are listed among the list of numbers given to the committee. It doesn't say which one.

Large 4A Small 5A under 7A class system
-
How do seed 1-4 if you have 4 teams 10-0, 5-0.
-
Which St Joe is among the classification list?
-
Make that 32 plus our 13 non football
-
No add our non football teams in with them as a 48 team class.

MAIS has 84 football schools, 32 are 8 man, 92 all sports 245 + 92 = 337 9 classes of 24, 24, 24, 24, 32, 32, 59, 59, 59 10 classes of 24, 24, 24, 24, 32, 32, 32, 48, 48, 49
-
Go to 8 classes then. That will be scenario to figure out. Probably 4 classes of 24, 2 of 32, etc.
-
MAIS has a point system. They get extra points I believe for playing a higher class team, more for a win over higher class team.
-
No only MHSAA, everyone else can post online.

They said they needed 6 math teachers at the new school when it opens. Not sure how many are there now. I suppose one of Magee assistants will take over. I don't know who will teach Jones classes if that's the case.

Reclassification Could Occur As Soon as This Fall (22-23)
Rebel Bert replied to TK_on_the_Coast's topic in Football
The committee has the latest and greatest numbers. I am assuming from January or first week of February as I was told. -
Since I am sure that no one wants to play at 8 am on any day, I think it will be 1, 3, 3 or 2, 2, 3 . I will not be surprised that they move it a week later to avoid a SWAC championship/SEC/Sun Belt preparation situation.

We don't have byes with 16 or 32 in the playoffs.

Maybe they can release classes then. The person who posted the proposal may have those numbers. We may want to post our own region projections. -

How about SB Live post the new classes with numbers if they are that close to MHSAA.
