Natchez football has to face sanctions and be disbanded for awhile

It’s clear the school or head coach has no control over the assistants or players.

About three minutes to go Natchez asst goes after the official on that side   He is stopped by other coaches He won’t stop and is foaming at the mouth . Players start cussing and threatening ref. They get backed up about forty yards because of penalties from it.

They refuse to come back on the field and start to leave. They all hover around the gate. Officials run the clock to zero and call the game. Our coaches get our players and rush them to the field house. Asst coach and Natchez players bum rush our field house and try to get in.  Players parents and coaches wives and kids are caught up in it. Somehow they get them inside and put everyone in the locker room. All the while they are still jostling with security trying to get inside and raising all kind of hell. That the last I know but police and sheriff deputies were on the way.

This is not the first time they have acted up and frankly I don’t want us to play them again. Don’t worry boys it all on film.  They have been letting a lot of bad behavior from coaches and players go unchecked this season. It’s time for the MHSAA to get some backbone.

I’ve been watching high school football for more years than I care to share. I’ve seen some bad things but I’ve never saw anything like this tonight. It got really bad thanks to security and the Wayne County School police. I had my grandson so we got away from there before the sheriff and police department got there but Natchez was still in the parking lot cutting up.

We already had one that had to be locked up with a busted head. It looks like two or three more may have to put in cuffs for trespassing.

Death Valley is the place where teams dreams come to die.

War Eagle stadium is the place coaches come to lose their freedom.

One of their coaches came on the field and grabbed #99 for us and jerked him hard by the arm. That’s assault brotha. It’s on film.

Natchez needs to be put in district with schools along Miss River/Delta. They have more in common with those teams. They should never play schools east of I-55

Them and Brookhaven are the only 2 5A schools West of 49, North of Hattiesburg, and South of 28.

They need to be with Vicksburg & Jackson city schools. Maybe throw in Florence too.

I think that maybe a possibility if North Pike goes 5A then pull 3 Jackson area schools or Florence. That might require Laurel and Hattiesburg going north to Neshoba Central and Columbus area.

Putting hattiesburg in the north would be totally stupid

There must have been something in the air last night. I’ve heard of about four incidents similar to this last night. One at Quitman, one at Magee and one more.

It's almost Halloween. Strange stuff happens. Lol

All due respect CC Natchezs problem is not geographical. It’s accountability

Thank god we have our own law enforcement team at the school and they train for that very incidents that happen. I hav no doubt it would gotten very ugly without their presence. You think they have that at Natchez ? It’s not safe for other teams to travel there.

Region 2 maybe could be good for them travel wise if placed with vicksburg and jackson area schools.

You can't place Natchez in the north. That would be insane.

I was hoping that was obvious that I being a little funny. Travel would be insane for north teams playoff wise if Natchez was a constant playoff contender. Here is a more optimistic look at it though. Lets say you swap Natchez for Neshoba Central. Straight out the gates that mean longer drives for Neshoba Central. However The average travel time I think is slightly shorter for the other travel teams in region 3 to travel to Neshoba Central and you get a better competitive team. Natchez also a slightly shorter drive and get a few more teams to be more competitive against.

People don’t realize we’re in the Jones County association for officials. They are not from WC more times than no we’re on the losing end of penalty yards.
Natchez had three straight unsportsmanlike penalties with about two minutes left called on the bench (  head coach and assistant coaches)
