What’s going on in Wayne County?

Man, the more I dig the more they all stink.

Didnt know it but the Supt cut the coach’s salary so bad that anyone with other options is not coming to Wayne County. Why ?  Did it on the sly too. Is the district short on money ? It’s time to fess up.

I can tell you this much these coaches are blowhards that don’t care one iota about winning nor do they even know how.  They are in place because they play along.

There is more bad coming. I want to know where that dam money is going.

Lost the best player to Breland up at the academy this week along with another starter. I don’t blame his family for moving him. Breland will get him the football unlike this Bubba Hathorne offense.
Anyone that knows me on here  knows I have been on to this weasel for almost ten years now.
This is what happens when you run all the competent young people out of the county through economics. I have no hope to ever see Wayne County at a cream of the crop level again.

My days as championing the team are over. My efforts are only to make miserable the hands that are dirty in causing this downfall.  And there are many. If not through their actions but in sitting on their hands and not speaking up.

How could our school board ever approve someone for the top spot as not even being from Wayne County ? Enablers. How’s that investigation into the missing five million from a few years ago going ?

Nope. Take Mangum for example. Recruited at both Wayne and Simpson, still couldn’t win the big one. Breland goes to Wayne, recruits hard in year one and goes 6-6 with most wins only over some of the worst MAIS teams.

Fact is, they’re having to coach more/harder now because their staffs are so much smaller. So they counterbalance that by going and recruiting athletes.

Name a retired public school coach that goes to the MAIS and hasn’t “recruited”… I’ll wait…

Name any coach that hasn’t recruited in MAIS period. I’ll wait and be truthful

This makes no sense. It’s much harder to win in large public schools because the competition is much harder.  As far as recruiting, you have a handful of private schools that have all the best players because they own the others in recruiting. To say Breland can’t coach because he recruited a player or Mangum can’t coach because he didn’t win a private school title is laughable and makes you lose all credibility with anyone that knows anything about high school football.

Never said they couldn’t coach. I said it’s not working out for them so far. They are having to coach more/harder now. Big change going from a staff of 8 or more to a staff of about 4 or 5. If it was easy all coaches would be retiring and going to coach private school. Heck, Teddy Dyess left after year 1 in it.
