2027-2029 Reclassification

I've heard that Belmont may be on the fringe of 2A, Baldwyn 1A and Booneville 4A.

I believe that would be 4A but then the multiplier kicked in. I think they stay 3A but their towards the top.

Ive heard the same. I expect the 1A and 2A divisions to change drastically in North.

I am predicting: before they're divided

3A North

Region 1  - 7 or 8 schools

Region 2  - 5 or 6 schools

Region 3  - 3 schools

Region 4  - 4 or 5 schools

Sub total  19-21 schools 

3A South

Region 5  - 5 or 6 schools

Region 6  - 6 or 7 schools

Region 7  - 5 schools

Region 8  - 3 or 4 schools

It appears that Coahoma County, Winona, or Choctaw County will get stuck in Region 3.

Also Amory and another school will be in Region 4 with Louisville and Noxubee. 

And Seminary,  JDC, and  maybe Magee go to Region 8, Raleigh to Region 5 pending what happens to Lake, Mendenhall,  and Richland.

region 1 should keep kossuth, alcorn central and mantachie and booneville depending on what booneville turns in.  if booneville goes 4A then you have ripley dropping to 3A...........

byhalia and rosa fort probably get put in region 3 with coahoma, holly springs , independence and north panola

If Amory was to drop as well would Mantachie go with them in a region that way? Then maybe Kossuth, Alcorn Central, North Tippah and Ripley go to 1?

I totally forgot north tippah.    I feel like this is shaping up to be the most movement the north part of the state has had since they began counting enrollment every 2 years.
