WarDaddy
Chip Bilderback’s wife, Missy, just took the head women’s basketball job at Southern Miss. Great hire! If Chip comes home to take back over the football program, Columbia will be the BIG winner here! Edited March 23, 2025 by WarDaddy
Chunky6617
I imagine that’s what gonna happen.

Wasnt going to matter. Poplarville returns almost the entire team. They had a bunch of 10th graders starting all over the field. If they don’t get too full of themselves they should dominate 4A south for a bit.

They were young and probably over-achieved last year (which is outstanding). They are always fun to watch and it's very easy to pull for them, but they'll be right back in the thick of it. I'm glad we get back to playing them this year.
pancho
they are all hard nosed too. something that is lacking in many 4A programs up here in the north part of the state.
Gulfcoastdevil75
Poplarville is and should be the favorite in my opinion. Until they prove me wrong, they are the team to beat to win the South.

In the state championship starting line up they are losing their QB, RB, WB, both TEs , 4 OL, on defense they're losing a CB, ILB, SS, and 2 DEs. They did play some young guys but they had a bunch of seniors on the field.

They will still be a tough out b/c of their system and confidence but I don't see it being a cake walk for them Edited April 1, 2025 by coastball

Greene County gave them absolute fits the past two years.
