Whats the history there?

Dolan gonna win the district year one? Ironically FCAHS has been moved into the coast district with Greene County this go around so he will face his former team in district play every year.

Anybody got the USM spring game schedule? I know last year they released a master schedule around this time.

He inherited a Columbia team that averaged 11.5 wins per season the past 6 seasons and had competed for and won a state championship in 2 of the 6 seasons. He won 8 games and got bounced in the 2nd round.

They're the real winners in this. Pogue will not sprinkle some magic fairy dust to get Brandon over the hump Chip did a better job at Columbia than he did. Sam did a great job at Brandon and still couldn't get the job done. If im not mistaken itll essentially be the same staff so I dont see Pogue walking in and overhauling the program without some backlash. Pogue is also 56 years old and hasnt won a championship or competed in one in over a decade.

Not really true according to MHSAA. In the state championship starting line up they are losing their QB, RB, WB, both TEs , 4 OL, on defense they're losing a CB, ILB, SS, and 2 DEs. They did play some young guys but they had a bunch of seniors on the field.

Might as well have hired from within. For a program like that I would've went hunting for a young up and coming guy. There are plenty of successful programs in the area that they could've poached a coordinator or assistant from.

Gross. Thats not a great hire.

Last I heard was that they were gonna play Meridian at Diiberville but they might've just decided to meet in the middle there at USM.

He won 6 games. Stockstill won 6 games in the 1 year he was there and they haven’t won 6 games in a season since then. Can’t pick and choose what success is HAHA.

Who has had success at FCAHS lately HA. I like Lowery and Stockstill both I think either would be a good hire for them!

What Madison Central or Germantown assistant?

Kirby Smart had 16 years experience, 7 years as a coordinator, 3 Championships as a coordinator. Now do Bramlett mwahahaha

Yes won it all in 2010 and lost to lumberton in 2005 when he was Head man at Simmons. Hes starting to turn that Loyd Star program around having won 16 games the past two season combined and making the playoffs both years. They don't have much talent there thats for sure.

Get outta here dude! Hes never coached outside of training QBs! Might as well go hire the peewee coach in the area!

They’re down a lot

Nico Williams 6’4 200 pounds played receiver this year I like him a lot. Quote from rivals camp last year. “Not many quarterbacks come through the combine but Williams did and left a big impression as the 6-foot-4 prospect in the 2024 class is tall and lean, moved well and had a 32-inch vertical as well. Louisiana is showing interest in the Gulfport, Miss., prospect who missed time his sophomore season because of injury but who has the frame to be a quality quarterback at the next level.”

I’m interested in this one as well it’s a nice school district.

Meh I think our defense is gonna be really talented this year as well! I like our RB and QB though we shall see! I think we can win a couple playoff games at Gulfport this year!

Of course they did they’re comfortable with him he’s been there for 3 years. He’s been holding everything together because he wanted a shot at being the head coach he basically has been interviewing for 2 months. We don’t know if he will keep consistency or not. Maybe he will do great but this isn’t some home run. This was a safe hire.
