The only coaching opening on Hancock Counry's site is for an Emotional Support Coach.

Have heard Sims is possibly retiring. I can see High retiring but have been told he has a son in college that he is waiting on to graduate before doing so. Heard rumblings off Hancock giving Lollar the ultimatum of resigning or being fired. Makes zero sense to me. Kind of like the Biloxi situation last year. What do you think you will get? Hancock has like 10 playoffs appearances all time and Lollar was HFC for 5 of them. With the type of players Hancock has, Lollar has done about as good as you can with them. Have heard similar things at George but nothing 100% but it would not surprise me if Ray decided to move into a different role.

To my knowledge in most districts now a days, they are not allowed to do both. I am sure there some smaller districts where they allow it. However, most on the coast do not allow coaches to be admin and still coach.

Depends. Some head coaches are also athletic directors. Not all. There has been a movement away from that though.

This is happening more and more than people realize. Most administrations have no backbone and a group of unrealistic parents come in can make some sad things happen.

Just quick question about Sims obviously I’m not from the coast. Could you see him doing like Marcus Boyles in Petal? Retiring and coming back the next season as football coach only. From the outside looking in he seems to be very well liked.

Yes or go to Resurrection. But that job isn't open either but that's always been a rumor.

Have heard Dolan may be done at Forrest County. King at Greene County may look to get out after a great season and graduating his son and a big senior class.

It is definitely possible. But knowing what I do about that district. I would surprised if they did it.

Resurrection has been in holding pattern for Sims a couple of years. According to them it's his job next year

I have heard the same. Also, Wayne County will probably open. Purvis ? Very good possibility Hattiesburg opens, with his son going to South Alabama he may follow. Could be a lot of movement.

I cant speak for him, but I dont think the HHS job comes open. They are going to be very good next year. They have the nations no.1 WR coming back. Also a RB who will be a JR next season that will be getting a lot of attention soon. And our no.2 QB would be the no.1 QB on a lot of teams right now. HHS is losing a lot, but the cupboard is a long way from being empty.

I would not be shocked to see the DC from Petal interview for one of these jobs. He is young, energetic, and has a great resume. He is a guy that you could build a program around.
