I’m under the impression that if you retire you have to wait 90 days to come back and that 90 days starts with the new school year.

Greatest Mississippi High School QB's of all time?
CrimsonUnit1988 replied to BrickCity's topic in Football
This. He was the first one that came to my mind. -
I just don't see the spread catching on effectively at a PRC because year in and year out the athletes they have are not great. EC is a great example of this. They can't run the spread but they can be Picayune Lite and be effective and very competitive. It's also hard to say wing t doesn't work at PRC when some of their most successful years were running the wing t under Collins
-
See, I disagree. A spread offense can be great but I think your athletes dictate that. Look at Long Beach. Now, there are exceptions. If the OL is really good and the QB is good then a spread system can work pretty well. Wing T can have a smaller OL that creates angles and misdirection and with lesser athletes can be effective. Now, if it's all true about a certain wing t guy in PR county already then we assume we know who that is and I think currently he runs a Gun T system (I could be wrong on this) which I think would work well with PRC and their QB.

You have no idea.
-
Maybe. Who knows? It’s not like they have a rich tradition.
-
I disagree. He was successful at PRC and typically coaches that are successful are welcomed back with open arms like Dolan at FCAHS.
-
I mean……. Same could be said for Bramlett IF he called the plays huh?
-
Or they can poach OS of their newly minted best offensive mind in the state HC.
-
You do realize Pennock called the plays right?
-
Let's not forget he's the best offensive mind in the state of MS.
-
According to folks pulling out and someone else being offered, he was basically the last standing.
-
Last choice? Dang.
-
I don’t think Bramlett gets this job

QB Deuce Knight. He was a sophomore last year. Look for him to take a step forward this year. He can be special.
-
Had a ton of sophomores on the field and lost every game other than OS, Gautier, and Picayune by one score..Could've easily been 7-3 and headed to the playoffs as 3 seed this past year. Obviously that's not how football works.
-
It's obviously personal preference. I like Tatonut. I don't think donuts start and end with them though.
-
Put it this way, if you coach at Lumberton and have more experience than the OG coach, you'd make more money. Lamar County School District.
-
They're definitely not the premier 7A team of the south.
-
I'm not disagreeing with that but you have to admit that at Pass for one year with the best class they've probably ever had in 4A that OS hired him on potential.
-
They hired Pennock on potential.
-
Talent wise, yes. Pay wise, OG probably isn't on that list.
