Correct. I'm actually good with the 4 teams. There are gonna be teams that slip in and probably don't deserve it but if you went back to 2 then there would be very deserving teams that get left out more.

Well if they only took the top 2 then Vancleave would have more difficulty making it in the playoffs. I think 4 is good but I also don’t think it will ever change because of money.

Most likely Harrison Central would move to a region with Oak Grove. Petal and Pearl drop from that region to 6A. I'm sure NWR would move North.

You're stating it's not broke because it never affects Picayune. You're never on the bubble to have to play in 6A and make long distance travels. It does not affect you so therefore it's not broke to you. There's plenty more teams that this affects and it's good and this format actually helps Picayune as well.

Also, I don’t want to hear it. GC was in a division that made them travel to a Jackson multiple times and Meridian while those teams’ fans would not travel to GC and therefore affecting the amount of money GC was able to make. Had to spend way more than they made because of that. No natural rivals other than OG and Petal but those two were also the closest.

Regions are split in baseball anyway. Just like Hattiesburg and Natchez are currently in same football division but different baseball. I’m sure it would probably work out that way.

GC has been in region 3 before. It’s not bad if you’re talking West Jones, Hattiesburg, or Petal but when you start talking Natchez and the Jackson area it gets rough on travel.

Yeah but unfortunately GC would probably go north again which would absolutely suck. I’d also argue that St Martin is more likely to keep growing as opposed to dropping.

In this format you’d have 5 region games and room to schedule 5 non region games. This would be pretty cool. A coast region for 6A would look like (IMO) George Co, Goula, Gautier, West Harrison, Long Beach, PRC. Region 3-6A may look like West Jones, Hattiesburg, Petal, Natchez, Jim Hill, Forrest Hill. There’s a few teams that could be in or out depending in that region. I used some of the current ones that are in that 5A region. Competitive balance in 6A would be really good. All 6A teams on coast (current 6A) would be 7A with St. Martin being a bubble team at 23.

7A Tupelo- Terry 6A Lewisburg- Gautier 5A Ridgeland- Clarksdale

Yeah I semi agree but it's pretty freaking hard to overcome a gift TD like that. I mean. Seriously. Free points. I understand the idea of the offense supposedly not being dynamic but that takes away how well the defense played and that missed call cost them.

It was the first TD of the game in the 1st quarter I believe. WP ended up winning by 6. Hypothetically could've lost by 1 point if that call isn't botched.

It's not the fact they abandoned running the ball because they didn't. It was just run on 1st, run on 2nd, throw on 3rd. EVERY time. It was just kind of predictable. Never challenged the DBs either. Mostly threw now screens to the wideouts. Two fastest guys on the team from George County and Tylertown didn't play offense. It's actually comical that last year George County had an SEC DB in Daniels that played WR in the game and this year they have an SEC WR that played strictly DB and "returned" kicks. Never had a chance to return kicks because the AL kicker was dang good.

Not dirt kicking but I will say that West Point made it because they didn't have to go through Picayune or Laurel before the state championship game. I firmly stand by my claim that Picayune and Laurel were both the best two teams in 5A. They just had to play before the state title game. Also, we all saw the play. WP player was down vs NC.
