Kind of odd that Hancock is open.
-
PRC is actually closer to the Jackson schools by about 10 miles. That's why they went to that region last time. Seems like the MHSAA decided to flip it this year to appease PRC for two years. Probably gonna see a PRC/GC flip every two years.
-
Well, it was a stop route or what some would say a comeback. A post is to the middle of the field at the “post” lol.

If some of the stuff is true about Meridian moving down then it may be them.
-
So, no Louisville players are suspended? Only Starkville Players?
-
What's wild is that it's at SP but the fights were at McComb.
-
That's a good question. Maybe R3 considering they are 1 team short already.
-
True but with Jim Hill already independent it makes me wonder if they'd move a team out. I guess if Meridian moved in then it would equal out.
-
Would mean that PRC would move to coast region and Meridian in region 3. Who would fill WH's spot though I wonder? If both Hancock an WH move up.
-
Yes. This is what they did.
-
Meh, the QB played 2 series. Went out with an issue. Didn't come back.
-
What are you referring to in that last sentence about Boyles' first day as HC? I'm intrigued lol.

The turf definitely helps in this regard. Great venue. I will add the Mississippi College has a nice stadium and I think it used to be played on campus there at some point in time.

Best teams that you have personally seen in Each classification.

I think a lot are getting somewhat off topic. It’s the greatest teams you’ve seen PERSONALLY. Maybe some of you saw 1987 Goula AND 2003 South Panola. I didn’t. But if we’re talking about teams we have t seen personally then 2002 Wayne Co and Collins both could be up there. -

3A- 2002 Greene Co, 2012 Greene Co 4A- 2003 Wayne Co, 2002 D'Iberville, George Co, Picayune, and West Jones, 2006 Wayne Co, 2023 Columbia. 5A- 2007 South Panola and George Co, 2008 Meridian, 2021 Picayune, 2022 Picayune 6A- 2016 Pearl, 2020 Oak Grove, 2021 Ocean Springs, 2022 Ocean Springs These are teams I have seen and they all played George Co. except for 2023 Columbia. I may be missing some. -
I've put on here multiple times that the defense has kept them in games and that they've given up 5 KOs for TDs and it's been an unfortunate year of turnovers that have been direct TDs for the other team via pick 6, fumble returns, or bad snaps on punt/ blocked punts. I'm just specifically defending the defense because there were a lot of scores that looked different than the final numbers say. WE all know that the defense gets the blame for points given up even if the offense has a TO that is a direct TD for the opposing team.
-
Man, you seriously don’t watch games and go off score alone. I’ve told you all year that the defense is fine. GC gave up 2 KOs and a pick 6 against Terry. The same guy.
-
talent wise it's not in the top 5 in MS and talent goes a long way in how good a job is.

My biggest argument is that Stone and George are both considered Coastal. Pearl River is in a line with them so from West to East you have PR, Stone, George. Under them you have Hancock, Harrison, Jackson. That's the six coastal counties.

They're in Jackson County so, yes. I'm glad you brought that up because Vancleave and Gautier beat Wayne Co and Hattiesburg in the playoffs last year as well.
-
And typical post by saying that's your opinion.
-
OS beat OG last year. Picayune has won back to back state titles and Poplarville is typically pretty good. Kind of a weird statement.
-
1993 They went 11-3 and lost in the semis to Okolona. 1994 they lost to Taylorsville in the title game. 1995 was his first season at WC.
-
Correct and didn't win but lost the title game to Taylorsville in 1994.
