I was thinking the other day about schools that are no longer schools , or they are still schools but no longer play football. Here are some that come off the top of my head. Beat Four, Beula Hubbard, Hickory , Dexter , William Winans, Sturgis, New Hebron What are some more that you can remember?

That's one of the sad things about football in general. A lot of times the coaches that do the best jobs coaching from a fundamental and scheme stand point are doing it with inferior talents. Some of the coaches that people think are great coaches are simply doing it because they have far superior players. Not always , but a good bit of the times. I am not saying that is the case in this particular situation.

Who is your top two in the North and South For all classifications in 2026?

What is your thoughts on this? Should the U.S. be involved in it? I know this is generally a sports board, but just curious.

its the one where a homeschooled kid can play public school ball. As long as he meets elgibility requirements. Say for instance. A kid that lives in Mize but is homeschooled can go play football at Mize .

can be a good job always has athletes. i wonder if anybody in district and east or west would have a shot at this job

yes they will. I hate to say if for that proud program and town , but it has gone down hill really quick. Less and less students there. It has gone from probably being the top 2a job in the state to middle of the pack or lower within another two years.
