If you actually watched them and know football you’ll understand how important their D was to whatever they averaged.

Ocean Springs lost their entire defense that basically carried them last year

No you only see MC at the top of one person’s poll and it’s not even a serious one.

Damn. WC really softened up that schedule lol

Right.

I agree. Obviously it goes without saying but sometimes you can have more talent on paper but not have a better team or cohesive unit.

You mean 7 classifications.

You certainly don’t wanna go down that hole seeing as WJ beat Terry 2-0 (no one in the state was holding OG to 2 points mind you) and Laurel was a one score game. OG played a consistently tougher schedule week in and week out than West Jones naturally because they’re in a tougher district and also traveled to Hoover. Had the matchup happened I’d bank on OG getting more stops than WJ could keep up with on the scoreboard. 24-14ish type score.

Sure. But they’ve scheduled the likes of Petal several times. I guess the timing just hasn’t lined up.

For sure. Unreal they haven’t scheduled each other yet.

Yea right. Much respect to West Jones their defense was great but they didn’t see an offense anywhere close to Oak Grove.

In a one game sample… talent has not been Mississippi’s Achilles heel.

Wrong.

09 SP is the best 6A squad.

Offensively yes.

03 South Panola was for a long time the best high school football team I’ve seen in person. Probably still is.

7a - 2023 Oak Grove … haha

Depends on how well we reload honestly. There’s couple of games on there that are scary but I’m looking forward to it.

I can’t speak for everyone… but when I was still living in OG I didn’t miss a home game. I standby my stance that the in person atmosphere is unmatched. But for those that absolutely can’t be there in person the live stream is convenient.

Uh no. As someone who now lives in a different state and has to catch my Alma mater’s games via live stream I disagree with this 100%

Laurel? Nah. They’re fine.

Sure has. And there’s some real football talent at that school.

That’s probably what’s gonna have to change if they ever wanna be taken seriously in football. You would think such a hire would indicate that that’s their goal.

You seem pretty obsessed with the guy at this point. Are you ok?
