I’m hearing more about Bay Springs that explains why their jamboree results against Enterprise were what they were. If what I’m hearing is true, Bay Springs gonna start out behind the 8 ball the first month of the season until they get some players back. And, IF it’s true, I definitely won’t be picking them to beat Raleigh this week

Why does Maxpreps only show Enterprise with 28 players on their roster? Is that accurate? That cannot be accurate. Has the staff not completed their roster yet?

We know. And look, to be honest, the guy is a just a diehard fan. We rib him alot but He’s no different than alot of high school football fans, he just has access to a message board and expresses himself. Fan is short for “fanatic”.

I was surprised they beat Bay Springs, but I have heard that Brady did not play his starters the whole time. I’m not surprised they scored twice on bay springs because I think bay springs may struggle a little defensively early on. I expected them to score more than once though. Bay springs has two really good backs, I am wondering if they played the whole time

Taylorsville looked Good Friday night. Their OL needs a little work and that should come with more game experience. But their skill guys are solid. They may take some losses in non-conference games but they will not have much trouble in 1A outside of Velma Jackson.

Watching Raleigh first hand last weekend, they should be a little better than I originally thought. But nowhere near as good as their fans are expecting. I spoke to one of their fans Friday night and he had realistic expectations. Most all the others I speak to think there isn’t going to be hardly any drop off from last season at all. Defensively, I thought they looked very solid. Offensively, you can tell there’s a lot of new players out there. They trying not to let 50 and 52 play both ways evidently to keep them fresh for defense I guess, but I don’t think they will go the whole season doing that. You only got 35 players out there, most of them gonna have to go both ways.

The fact that he has toned down his chirping tells me they have gotten word to him to lay off the message boards.

I saw Raleigh, Tville, and Scott Central yesterday. Raleigh looked good. Defense is definitely ahead of the offense for them right now. Tville looked good at the skill positions, struggled up front. Scott Central has a little work to do. They didnt look quite as good as I was expecting them to. You can tell they lost alot from last season, but they are horrible or anything.

I read somewhere else that enterprise won 14-10. Don’t know if it’s true or not. I thought if it was we would surely be hearing about it by now

Ask any athlete who has done both. It’s hotter at 2 pm playing baseball than it is at 7 pm playing football, with it without pads on. The heat index drops considerably at 7 pm than compared to 2 pm when it’s at its hottest
