Simmons has the better OL/DL.

These delta teams have plenty of talent, but they commit penalties like this in the postseason because the officiating in the delta is under par… IMO

Lol. No. Enterprise was very good though. Behind JDC, Raleigh, and Tylertown however

This is going to be a good game. Definitely think it will go down to the wire

I see two teams that are pretty evenly matched, and Simmons is benefitting from a punt return for a TD right now.

Y’all ain’t watching the same game I am evidently.

It’s obvious you don’t know anything about Raleigh. Raleigh was better than enterprise this year, and their junior class is their best class. If enterprise wants to beat Raleigh it will have to be year after next.

That’s a problem with having a little quarterback. Pocket was there to step up into, but these little QB’s want to scramble outside so they can see.

Man these announcers for the 1A game are hard to listen to. They are just saying a bunch of cliche football words to fill up there broadcast.

Again… no. Y’all need to travel outside the delta from time to time

Correct. Probably going to be Raleigh. But JDC will still be a contender

Simmons may win, but anybody who thinks Simmons wins in a blowout is fooling themselves. Y’all need to get outside your bubble. Bay Springs wins in a close game

No… not even close

JDC defeats Raleigh 26-20

Raleigh 14-7

14-0 Raleigh now

Raleigh up on JDC 8-0 early

JDC wins this one

I don’t. It’s in the local newspaper though

Interim head coach Matt Maddox has been named head coach at Mize High School

If Petal or OG allowed it then It could, as could also the high school championship games. We had to move the games to Petal 4 years ago after a snow storm pushed the games back a week. I understand why USM is doing it. It just sucks for the kids whose goal is to make it to USM every year. It is what it is.

I think enterprise will win this game. Magee is pretty good defensively though.

Newton defeats Mize 36-30… what a game

Tinamites 5-6 years old, rookies 7-8 years old, midgets 9-10 years old, pee wee 11-12 years old. We play our state championships every year at USM, and have for years now. For them to kick us to the curb this year is disappointing. We are one of, if not the largest, youth football leagues in the south. We have between 40-50 schools in the MYFA.

This really sucks for the Mississippi youth football association who already was scheduled to have their championship games there that weekend, like we do every year. Kind of got the rug pulled out from under us there…
