Why in the world would it matter if they got up for mize like they did pelahatchie? It wouldn’t matter if they got up even more than they did for pelahatchie. Pelahatchie is terrible. That whole region except for Raleigh got destroyed. Had we not missed the extra point, we would have had the running clock in the 1st quarter.

Yep. We lost to mount olive 8-0. Thought we were going to play them again at south state, but they were upset the week before against Salem. Then we blew out Salem at south state, and upset Weir and Dicenzo Miller at the state championship. Tville beat Calhoun City to win their 2nd straight title, and Raleigh lost to Amory who was arguably the best team in the entire state.

I am going to laugh until my head falls off if we have a Mize/Scott Central against Heidelberg for south state. I may not stop laughing until Christmas if that happens. Bay Springs fans pretend like they didn’t already get beat at home to Raleigh. And Raleigh fans pretend like they didn’t lose to Newton county or should have lost to mize, who they could likely see again in round 3. Both teams fans literally think they are the only two teams playing.

I think Charleston is the best in the north, and I think Calhoun City and Union are right behind them. If I had to pick between Calhoun city and union I would pick Calhoun City

I could see Puckett beating Collins because Collins appears to have lost interest in playing football the last couple weeks. Also won’t be surprised at all to see Loyd Star beat Lake. I just know traditionally that region does very poorly in the playoffs because their strength of schedule is usually not very good. Lake has played a strong schedule, Loyd Star has not. Matter of fact, Loyd Star has played one good team all year and was blown out in that game. They barely beat some teams who are really bad. That’s just a really weak region.

That’s the thing about the wing-T or the double wing. It’s not a secret. Teams know what you are going to do. You still have to stop it. It’s the greatest high school offense in history. Usually the teams who defend against it the best or the teams who also run it for their offense.

Taylorsville is a good bit better than Simmons. They are healthy for the first time since week 3. They will probably end up being the 2nd best team in 1A

The fan who came over the fence and attacked a player should go to jail. The teams should be banned from postseason this season and next season. There needs to be real punishment to start teaching people that this kind of stuff is not gonna be tolerated
