No, they can’t stop anybody. They have played a soft schedule and still the least they have given up is 22 points against stringer. They give up an average of 37 points per game. Loyd Star has a very good back who they will not stop.

Region 6 and region 7 top 2 seeds will advance. Saint Andrews and BC could be a decent game, but pelahatchie nor Puckett will beat Loyd Star.

Every region is almost set. Region 5 is almost set. Scott central and Lake will play in 2 weeks to determine who the 2 and 3 seed are. Region 6 is Raleigh and Pisgah at 1 and 2, Saint Andrews at 3. Puckett and Pelahatchie winner will determine the 4 seed. Region 7 is basically waiting on the Amite county and Wilkinson county game this next week to determine the 3 and 4 seed. Loyd Star and Bogue Chitto are 1 and 2. Region 8 is essentially set barring any major upsets. Heidelberg at 1, Mize at 2, Collins at 3, and North Forrest at 4.

Gonna have to wait until last week of the season to see who is the 2 and 3 seed in region 5 between Scott central and lake. Other than that I think most regions are close to being set. At least the top 2 seeds are.

I thought they always released the numbers before December, but didn’t release the classes and regions until early December. I always thought the numbers were released in October, and we all would try to piece it all together ourselves while we waited for the official word in December

I haven’t heard any smith county numbers “officially”. If Raleigh is at 224, I don’t know if that’s going to be 2A. Last time I think the cutoff was like 219. Scott central is going to be right there close too

Heck I forgot they are in the south too. I’m not used to the delta teams being in the south. I only remembered Simmons because I knew they played Tville in the playoffs last year

1A south is gonna be a good race between Velma, Simmons, and Tville. I don’t think Lumberton is quite at their level, but they aren’t far off.

Yes they can. And they also can recruit. With that said, west jones also recruits. Just not anywhere near the level the private schools do. Private schools are free to recruit. Public schools have to do it secretly.
