It’s not a lack of money. Heck just look at how much parents spend on travel baseball. It’s insane. Kids just aren’t playing football as much. Numbers have been dropping nationwide.

1) Heck no. They already do a poor enough job with junior high and high school because they are only concerned about making more money for themselves. 2) It’s not possible to do that because not enough schools have teams for all age groups, especially smaller schools. Registration for youth football has been trending down for a while, and it’s only getting worse. The only way to have teams not have to travel long distances, you have to pair them with teams who are closest geographically. That means smaller schools have to play bigger schools. 3) We already have that, and 8 games is way too many games for young kids. Not to mention, if you go all the way to the championship round, that means you end up playing 12 games. Thats just way too many games for little kids. Heck junior high only plays 6 games. There’s no reason why youth should play more than junior high. 4) We already have that 5) We already have that

He played in an all star game at Fenway park in Boston. He’s a good baseball player, it’s his #1 sport. He’s committed to Southern Miss. He would have helped them, but we still won 33-0. He wouldn’t have made that much of a difference. Tville had linemen dropping in the 2nd quarter from cramps. That’s where the lack of depth hurts them.

Believe me, we are 100% more worried with Taylorsville than Enterprise right now. I promise you we will not focus one ounce of energy on enterprise until the last week of the season.

Sinegal transferred, which is still in the air. Regardless, even if he gets denied at west jones he won’t return to stringer. Their big RB is Campbell, and he did not transfer. He is still at Stringer

That’s another game similar to stringer. It’s a game y’all should win but NF is capable of winning. They have a big OL and DL, but they are not deep enough to last 4 quarters.

I watched them in the spring, without their best player, and they still looked fine. They are actually very similar to enterprise, but they still aren’t quite there yet. I believe enterprise is the better team, but it’s not that big of a gap and stringer has them at home. I think enterprise wins, but it’s gonna be a closer game than you think.

If they beat stringer they will win 6 games. They need to win that first game but that being a home game for stringer with stringer having alot to prove this year, it will be tough.

Well if they finish last then they miss the playoffs. I think they beat clarkdale and finish 4th, and yes play Scott central in round 1. BUT…. I wouldn’t be shocked if they beat SC in round 1. I don’t think it would happen, but I wouldn’t be shocked if it did

He’s got to learn when to throw the ball away and not force throws. That should come with time and more experience. He is a good kid.

Taylorsville has enough talent returning to be good again this year, but there are a couple things that really could hurt them. Number one, their depth. They have none. Their 1’s will be good up front on both sides of the ball but they do not have much depth anywhere across the board. They cannot afford any injuries and they will have to be in very good shape to last for alot of their games, especially their early games in the hot weather. Number 2, losing Trey Barnes was a huge blow. If Clark stays that will help, but if he leaves for Hattiesburg like some have mentioned here that will really really hurt. They are going to have to rely heavily on the run game as it is.

If Loyd Star was a little better defensively, I think they and Wesson could be right up there. They will score a lot of points this season offensively, especially playing the schedule they do, but once they come against a good defense that slows them down they are done for. However, offensively, they are going to rush for a crap ton of yards. They have 3 good backs. Everybody knows about Kees, but they have two more backs that are tough. Wesson will be a little bit better than them, IMO. A little better defensively and more balanced offensively.

I forgot Kemper dropped to 2A. That will make the north a little more competitive. Charleston always seems to have very little trouble up north, but I bet that won’t be the case this year. I still like them to make it to state though.

I think the 3 best teams in the south are all in the same region, and no I don’t think one of those teams is enterprise. As for the north, I’m going to assume Charleston is the clear front runner but I don’t know how much they lost from last season. I don’t know what Northside returns. East Webster could end up dethroning Charleston. I don’t know what Velma Jackson returns, but I’m thinking it’s probably a good bit

I just see what’s going on from an outsiders perspective. I know a lot of stuff that has been allowed to happen at Tville the last 10 years would never have been allowed to happen at mize. Disciplinary wise

I agree. But if he fired those people, how do you think the majority of the people in Tville would respond to that? He’s given them pretty much everything they have asked for in just one year. The only thing he hasn’t done is fired the holdovers that were there from the previous superintendent. If he fired those people, what do you think people in Tville would do?
