While the school board did make some really bad hires over the last 10 years at Tville…. What ultimately killed your school is too many parents raising bad kids that drove away all the good teachers and students. Sooner or later the town of Tville has to take some accountability. Why do you think there is so much turnover with teachers? Ask any of them why they want out of Tville so badly and they will tell you. Too many bad kids. There are good kids and bad kids at every school. But teachers want to be at schools with the least amount of bad kids as possible. Especially if those teachers have kids of their own.

There are no “sure wins” for Enterprise. It’s a likely win. You said this exact same thing about clarkdale last year.

They went 6-5 last season with a win over 2A Loyd Star and I believe had high hopes coming into this year.

Enterprise is well coached, so they can still run off some wins. But they could also end up 1-9. There is not a game left on their schedule except for SE Lauderdale where you can say they are a certain win.

North Forrest is playing pretty good right now. They looked good in the jamboree and they thumped enterprise Lincoln 39-0 last night

Coach Agee has those guys playing hard. Defensively they played very well, even a little better than I expected them too. Offensively, I have said for a while it’s going to be tough for them having to replace all their skill guys from last season. They lost every skill player who was a starter from last year, and a lot of those guys were 3 year starters. Their offensive line is good, but with so many of them having to play both ways they eventually wore down. I heard #9 went down with an injury in the 2nd half, I am praying it’s not a bad one and he is able to get back soon.

Tville played hard. Their starters are good. They just don’t have depth. If they avoid injuries they will do fine in 1A south. But they can’t afford any injuries.

Tville is not failing, but they aren’t real high either. The problem Tville has is teachers leaving in high numbers every year.

Junior high coaches are on the field, and they should be most of the time. Many of them are learning a new system at that time and it makes it way easier on the players and the coaches. Many even do it for JV games

Hopewell kids don’t have to go to Seminary. They can go anywhere in the county they want. Many of them choose to go to Seminary.

Yes. But about 3 years ago the school board was set to vote to consolidate MO and Collins but the parents from MO showed up and got it shut down. Now they are suffering even more

The people of Mount Olive fought it. Now their facilities are running down, and they haven’t had a junior high team in 2 out of the last 4 years. Collins isn’t the one struggling, Mount Olive is. And they were the ones who fought against it.

I have never understood why Forest and Scott Central don’t consolidate. There is no reason why Scott county should have two school districts. Mount Olive and Collins should have consolidated 3 years ago

I would imagine it will be your schools in counties that are underperforming academically

West Lauderdale struggled against clarkdale in their jamboree I was told. If so, they ain’t beating seminary.

They have a 9th grader that played JV who was about 6 ft 4 and 300 pounds.
