Call me crazy, but as much as Picayune plays Pascagoula I want Pascagoula to hire someone that will challenge Picayune's coaching staff and give them fits. Picayune has got to get better in pass defense and Pascagoula has the opportunity to get someone that I think in the long run will help both teams.

Let's just say there's a bunch of them in Pearl River County.

Why isn't "you know who" being mentioned as a finalist? I think King would do good there, but man oh man it's super simple to pick up the phone and make a call. Just need a dialtone LOL.

Picayune wasn't LOL. That was a rough stretch for the Maroon Tide. Calvin came on at the tail end of the Big 8 days and got it turned around for Picayune.

Don't sell yourself short. You know what's going on down there and why.

@Archeryou made this post over two years ago, but it's a great post and I think it sums things up quite well.

I know you've posted about the history of Biloxi before and I think you have a great insight as to why things are, the way they are, at Biloxi.

I’m really not surprised by this being open again. It’s a job that probably looks good on the outside, but once the outer layer of plastic begins to dry rot from the Biloxi sun it’s a mess.

Tell that to The River LOL.

Maybe he can get Meridian an extra timeout LOL. If he does that, I’ll count his Meridian tenure a success. But here’s the kicker: I want to see him do it staying cool, calm, & collected on the sideline.

That's not a transfer. That's called moving from one grade to the next all within the same school district. A transfer is moving from one district to another.

Dude’s in jail. Don’t think he can have libations behind bars.

Don't take this the wrong way, but would a job like this one even be considered a resume' builder? If the pay is decent, I think there would be some to apply but it's probably not widely publicized at all.

I'm just curious if they will rotate PRC and George County every two years if everything else remains the same. Even if they do, it would still be between Hattiesburg and West Jones for the most part.

I'll reiterate Merlin's question: Why?

It’s like Picayune and Wayne County swapped because we were 4A in 2002.

At least it would have gotten scratched. I could have dealt with the rest LOL. That was such a great Maroon Tide team. Came up just short like we did against y’all the year prior.

All I know is we should have played y’all back in ‘03. That’s a dang itch I ain’t ever been able to scratch LOL.

Who do you want to see South Panola go after?

Just focus on that Gulfport win. That was chef's kiss good. Stay on cloud 9 for a while cuz y'all earned it.

@Ghost of Howard Cosellis this what you would refer to as a "classic retread"?

South Panola hasn't been what they used to be in a long, long time. Doesn't mean they are bad, just means that they are on par with everyone else. They don't completely dominate anymore.

There’s a good bit of Hwy 45 in that stretch that needs to be repaved.

I honestly didn’t know how you could top the Poplarville-Louisville game from last year, but that Gulfport-Tupelo game blew that one away. What an awesome game.

The University of Gulfport is State Champions!
