Well let's certainly hope not. Laurel was huge along the defensive line and it gave our offensive line problems. Hopefully we'll get things cleaned up this week and will be better prepared for West Jones.

Understood, but if our offense is as anemic this week as it was last week that definitely is a serious cause for concern. Fortunately our defense was able to bail out our offense last Friday night with 4 interceptions. I certainly hope that we can move the football against West Jones. If we can do that I like our chances a whole lot.

I honestly don't know if you are trying to troll the JDC fans on here, but learning how to spell might be a good thing for you. They do have GED programs out there, just in case you didn't know. I think they have "accepted" defeat and are getting behind and supporting Hazlehurst. Those are some good people up there in Bassfield and I don't understand why you have some sort of beef against them.

Yes I think we would beat Gautier again if we were to play them again. They couldn’t stop us defensively and I think we will have made the necessary corrections to win that matchup if it were to happen again.

Well our defense is great and our offense is good, but for some reason the size of Laurel’s defensive line got to our offensive line. We eventually started to wear them down, but my goodness it seemed like the game was almost over with when we began to do so. They just kept loading the box and we ran right to them. Hopefully we can get things fixed this week.

I agree completely with that statement. We just seemed very vanilla against Laurel and their defensive line was beating our offensive line virtually the whole night. I mean how many times before Friday night did Donte get stopped for a loss? Things just weren’t working for us offensively against Laurel and I don’t know what the answer is, but hopefully we can right the ship this week.

Well I think that the Jaguars lost steam as the season wore along and the Indians gained steam as the season wore along. If the Jaguar team that played us showed up against Hazlehurst, you might would have had a different outcome. I don’t think any of the Jefferson Davis County fans on here would say that their team is invincible. They just normally have a team that is built for deep playoff runs and it just didn’t happen this year. All is good in Bassfield I promise you.

Ouch! That’s gonna hurt the ol’ Vikings.

Ha! I’m glad you found that funny. I’ll take that as a compliment LOL!

How will we react, respond, and adjust to Northwest Jones? If we can figure those things out I think we can put ourselves in a good position to win the ball game.

All I know is that this one will probably be a 4 quarter battle.

I hope we have some offense Friday night and maybe some better play calling to go along with it. I honestly don’t know what to expect at this point.

Wait a minute here. I thought Clarkdale had the best 3A defense LOL!

Definitely, good luck to Hazlehurst. Hopefully they go win it all. I have to admit I was a little bit surprised by the outcome but that was a tough 2nd round game. Now here’s the question I need to ask. Would Mancuso have any interest at all in assisting his high school alma mater with their football activities? They seriously need some help there and it ain’t even funny.

C’mon Vott don’t disappear into the abyss. We need you in Picayune next Friday night. I mean your schedule is now freed up isn’t it?

So much for the knockoff IMG LOL!

Whenever the Vicksburg-Point City matchup happens that will be the one to watch for.

Unlike last week, Picayune managed to get a wire-to-wire victory this week. I’ll take that any day of the week.

Well I’m not going to speculate one way or the other. We’ll have to get past West Jones next Friday and see where the cards lay.

Should I feel glad and happy you feel that way Dub? LOL!

It will be an interesting game next week for sure.
