I think Picayune streams on the NFHS website, but you have to pay I think. If I'm wrong somebody chime in and correct me.

Very interesting. No wonder the Raiders had good football teams back then. I'm referring to Picayune Jr. High when I say Raiders because back then they weren't the Maroon Tide like they are now. The high school and junior high were on opposite campuses and then they switched. When they made the switch is when the Jr. High became the Maroon Tide like the high school.
-
Ok cool. I know you have some sort of affiliation with that website so I was just wondering about that.
-
Is this David Parker the same one that runs the AHSFHS site or a different one? Maybe @s1nglewing can chime in on this.
-
High Tide @ 7:00! Safe travels to all the West Jones folks coming to Picayune for the game tonight.
-
Glad you mentioned Jack Carlisle. My dad played for him at Murrah and they had a darn good football program back when he played for them. It was quite special how Jack was successful everywhere he went.

Sorry I just reread my post and it’s misleading. I think Hazlehurst will win comfortably over Magee and Hazlehurst is on an unavoidable crash collision course with Raleigh. Now you may very well be correct with that prediction.
-
They are calling this the Bottom 10's Pillow Fight of the Week.
-
It looks like Raleigh and Hazlehurst will be squaring off again. I'll take Hazlehurst in a landslide.
-
And so would some soon-to-be 6A team as well .
-
I just think he wants Enterprise to get skull drug by a superior opponent. How else can someone be so homerish?
-
Even if Pascagoula still has the same coaching staff next year, they can still make some noise in 6A south because all you'll have to contend with once you reach the playoffs is Hattiesburg and West Jones in region 3 until you get to the South State Championship game. Hancock may pose some challenges, but I think Pascagoula would be able to overcome those. On the whole I realize things haven't been great at Pascagoula, but Lewis Sims has the ability to stick a thorn in your butt so you better not overlook Pascagoula either.

One more day. I think I'm chomping at the bit for Friday night LOL! Should be a war tomorrow night and I don't expect anything less than that.
-
Picayune, Pascagoula, George County, and Hancock will probably be your playoff teams in region 4-6A next year. I think you would probably put Picayune as the favorite and then you'll have Goula, GC, and Hancock duke it out for 2-4.
-
Region 4-5A is going to be absolutely sweet next year. It will be a fun region to watch for sure.

I realize that what I am about to say might ruffle some feathers and I'm perfectly ok with that. Can we get a substitute opponent for PRC? I just don't see what we get out of playing them because they certainly are not a rival by any means. I feel like they could probably schedule someone beatable in our place and that would actually be doing them a favor. These two years that we will have in different regions might be good for them to go that route and then our series with them could possibly be reinstated after that if we end up in the same division. I mean it's just something I've thought about that makes sense for both programs.
-
Hey @Merlin what kind of "irrelevant information" can you post about your Mustangs on here? I'd like to hear your thoughts.
-
This Until 2023 thread has me pondering a bit. What will Picayune's regular season schedule look like and who will our non-division opponents be? I realize that may be food for thought for a later day, but I'd like to know something about our scheduling lineup next year like who and when.
-
Poor PRC. They can't get championship winning help even when they ask for it. Sounds like Jeff Stockstill made a smart choice in that regard.
-
It’s about time for some jacket wearing football weather. This will be way better than 2020 sun bake at Pascagoula LOL!
-
That sounds like one of those giant Mucinex horse pills . Been there, done that.
-
@Deonte3455, you might as well come too LOL!
-
So @Vott where are you headed Friday evening? If you can get away from the Hub City, come catch a game down here in the Yune. It should be a great 5A matchup.
-
Well Hometowngirl, Poplarville is a very good football team. I had the chance to go see them play Purvis this year and that offense that they run is very fun to watch. Coach Beech has done an excellent job there and Coach Feaster is doing a great job at Stone. This should be a great game to watch because both coaches like to run the football. If I had to pick a winner in this game I would go with Poplarville simply because the vintage offense that they run is so difficult to stop and they run it to near perfection. It wouldn’t surprise me either if Stone were to win this one as well because they’ve got a great football team this year. Unfortunately there will be an outstanding football team sitting at home after this game on Friday.

I'm not replying to your post to argue with you because I think your post is quite funny and I don't care if you pay any attention to what I post or not. I never said playcalling was a problem, but that it could be better. No one is calling for Cody's head and I don't think you quite understand where I am coming from. If we beat West Jones 17-10 I'll be ecstatic on Friday. If my post offended you then so be it. What I saw on Friday night was cause for concern and if I'm not allowed to post my opinions on a public message board, then how should I express them? Should I just keep them to myself? If I'm being ridiculous, then I'll continue to be just for you BubbaJ.
