That's insane. I knew the time of possession was in our favor, but I had no idea it was that much. That's a phenomenal feat.

Let's start with this (baby steps as you will): What does Grenada do well that will allow them to beat South Panola?

Woohoo! Somebody voted for Grenada. I'd like to hear your thoughts if you have any. Don't be afraid to get on here and make a post.

It's gonna be like listening to crickets, but I mean this is a big time game up north. It'll probably be long john weather Thursday night in Grenada. You'll get to separate the men from the boys in that kind of weather. Should make for a great night of football.

I'm surprised nobody from the North started a poll on this one, but man this seems like a pinnacle type game. If anybody has any thoughts on this one, please do post them. I don't want to be watching the paint peel LOL!

I fully expect to play both of these teams. One we'll get at home in round 2, the other we would get on the road in round 3. I just don't expect to play anyone from region 4 again in the playoffs. Something would seriously have to go off of the rails for that to happen and it could, but I just don't expect it. I guess this is what makes the playoffs so exciting when things happen that you least expect.

I don't know what the deal is with the Hattiesburg-Petal game. Hattiesburg can't seem to get over the hump with them, but once they got past them it was pretty much smooth sailing with the exception of y'all, but even then it wasn't terrible for them. Neither one of these teams are bad (West Jones or Hattiesburg) and it'll be big boy football to the max at D.I. Patrick Thursday night. This is still a regular season game and Vance knows how to get his boys wired up for this one, plus it's at home. As good and as dominant of a defense that West Jones has, I'd be hard pressed to pick against Hattiesburg in this one. Either way this game goes, it'll just give us clarity on whether or not Picayune has to travel to Hattiesburg or Calhoun in round 3 (barring we get that far).

He probably is referring to the box score. George County didn't win the third quarter when you look at that.

I honestly have no idea and geographically it really makes no sense, but Petal did get busted several years ago for recruiting players from Poplarville.

Where's it down at? Oak Grove? PRC just went 0-9 and they pack that thing out. If your stadium is too big, then yeah you'll probably have difficulty filling it up.

Hattiesburg? They were getting kids from Poplarville. Apparently they've still got a stronghold in Poplarville because I went to one of their games this year and a kid sitting right in front of me had a Petal shirt on. They may not be getting athletes from there anymore, but they are definitely getting students.

Paying to watch a livestream is such a ridiculous waste of money. I had to learn that the hard way with the state championship game.

Well at least you’ll be all toasty roasty because we supposed to have some football weather Thursday night. I’m looking forward to it.

USM was definitely scrappy. Glad I got to see this one in person.

Shawn Jones hurt his ankle and he looks like he’s in some kind of pain. Hopefully it’s not too serious.

State’s back to crappy, slow defense again this week (maybe it never left). It’s gonna be a long day unfortunately.
