Ok I will re-phrase. GC will get some stops, but won’t stop picayune’s offense enough, nor score enough on Picayunes defense, to be within 3 scores at the final buzzer.

Picayune wins by 3 scores. I seriously do not think GC has any real ability on defense to stop them.

Stone should have beat laurel. Injuries during the game slowed them down.

I keep getting a sneaky feeling that somehow West Point wins 5A, Louisville easily takes 4A and South PAnola gets it all together and takes 6A for all of them to get their 12th title.

Yes some games this week still going. But I wanted to get the conversation on this one going. Terry going into this game after a week off and it could be a trap game for Hattiesburg if Harry is looking ahead to the West Jones game.

WJ e did this game quickly so maybe they can get out of dodge before they are down range.

My step daughter is at Mississippi College. Some kids in her dorm went to something in Brandon this week. Concert or something. On the way home they went “less traffic” option on the gps. It had them around 3am a couple blocks from Forrest hill hs. They ended up at hospital. Car was shot at and a girl got grazed by the bullet.

Was like that when west played there for south state in 2020. Standing water all over the field. Couldn’t see the bleachers on the other side.

Didn’t deserve to win it. But I do think JP better than terry so I know WJ offense can play better than this. They just need to not play like this again.

I mean. I’ll be honest. West should have lost. Yes they should have went for 2 fg’s earlier when inside terry 25. No guarantee those get made. Terry had pick 6 called back by penalty. Legit penalty. West got away with pass interference on Terry’s last play. No doubt. Terry blitzed 2 at least on practically every play. 3 more often than not. Delayed blitzes on the edges but right at snap if they blitzed middle. They sold out to stop run and dared west qb to throw it. The pick was 8 yards short of the wr who had a step on defender. I don’t think Terry as good as Jackson Prep. I think west just didn’t get up for it and terry coming in wanting to make a statement. Hopefully this was wests bad game and now it’s out if their system.

They just played their worst game of the year offensively and I’m not sure y’all’s offense could score on them. Besides. After getting up for poplarville and Jackson prep this game had “trap game” written all over it. Now they get an off week and 2 cupcakes to get ready for y’all.

Scratching my head as to why WJ didn’t attempt field goals on 2 early drives inside the Terry 25. The kicker is good enough. Instead they turned it over on downs.

By far worst game west has played this year. Terry blitzing 2-3 every single play west qb rattled when he tries to throw.

I still feel the spread is not a good offense for this team to run. I actually feel the I formation or some other formation power running type offense. I hate running out of the spread.

As a WJ fan that felt many a heartache over all the L’s WC gsve us in years past, I’m quite happy with our current winning streak over WC. However it isn’t enough just yet. I hope WC keeps going its current course for a few years still.

The game against JP was the most penalized west has been this year. Which is not surprising given who the head official was. He’s known to be fairly biased against west and he brags about it in his social circles. I believe coach p had tried to have him barred from officiating games with west years ago. And honestly he shouldn’t being he is a west graduate. But due to them not having enough officials he gets them from time to time.

Don’t know about the gold ball. But the district title? Sure!

Weel, rock bottom since the turn of the century. They were pretty bad before 2001.
