And absolutely no one from Region 5 3A made the Allstars rosters. Kind of weird

I honestly appreciate you supporting your guys and repping your team, but honestly did you think any of these guys were All State?

It's the coaching staff that recommends players for All County, All Region, and All State. Good luck but it's usually Seniors that make it mostly.

Jayce Gunn is a sure bet for first or second team All-State corner back; has four or five INTS. Ridge Jackson has a good chance to make All state too. Trace Roy could make All State at fullback; place kicker or punter [he leads 3a in punting average.]

I like Gunn’s enthusiasm and love but he’s been exposed last two games if you wanna break his film down. I watched him play 15 yards off the ball on #19 for Morton and get beat on quick outs all 1st half. His 2 INT’s came off of #19 slipping on his route. I love that 2nd half Jimmerson or whoever your DC is realized it and made him play up on the line and make #19 work for it. He and the rest of the secondary got exposed against Quitman County but the QB was off his mark on half his throws except for the one that the WR grabbed middle of the field and took to the house which is why I wouldn’t exactly call your defense the #1 in 3A cuz your secondary has holes and linemen don’t cause enough pressure but your linebacker unit is IMO the best in 3A and I’ve seen all from the top ten.

I agree our Linebackers are studs, and we do get some pressure from the interior dline but they’re mostly specialized in stopping the run. As for our secondary, you’re gonna be forced to make simple throws and complete them consistently, which doesn’t happen often in 3a football

And y’all are very good at stopping the run thus far. Def been impressed by y’all’s front seven as a unit when it comes to that. And your DE made two huge fourth down stops by getting his hands up to stop the pass last game when couldn’t get to QB which showed he was coached if not able to get to QB at least get your hands up. Good coaching.

Btw DrownInETown it may seem I’m critical of Enterprise at times but in all reality I just like calling out ol dude when he makes hypocritical comments. I’ve watched y’all’s games the last two weeks and have enjoyed yalls energy as a team and fan base. Need to get rid of them annoying cowbells tho.

In case you don’t know what hypocritical means, in the dictionary there’s a picture of you beside the word saying so and so won’t beat Enterprise then turning around and telling a person they can’t say a team won’t beat another when they say Enterprise won’t beat Raleigh or JDC because anything can happen.

For a team to have a historical 28% winning percentage, kudos to the coach at Clarkdale for not bending the knee and accepting the historical norm.  I think this might be his first year, but here's proof that you don't need a whole bunch of time to turn something around.  If he can get Clarkdale into the playoffs and win the first round then he has definitely done an outstanding job.

Enterprise sounds a lot like a coach who was at a rival school in our conference. We would meet at the end of the season and each coach would recommend plays for all conference. This team was really good and had won the conference. My school had played them real tough but lost the game. This coach had the luxury of having an offensive and defensive team. He nominated all 22 of his starters for all conference. We had an old school assisistant coach who spoke what was on his mind. His comment to the other team's coach was damn we must have been playing in another league.

From what I’ve heard they fired a good coach for not bending the knee to the school board or admin.

Their previous coach was 33-49 overall with losing stints at Heidelberg Academy and Clarkdale.  You call that good?

They were an 8-4 playoff team last year and brought back the majority of the team. They were expected to be solid again this year.

And at the risk of sounding like I’m siding with EBF😂, I think Enterprise has had several players make All State teams the last 2-3 years.
