Looking like yet another blowout, Arkansas up big on Auburn. Hogs-Rebs rematch tomorrow.

I originally said I thought OM-Arkansas would play each other three times so I’ll stick with my gut there. If it’s Noland vs TBD tomorrow I tend to think that’s advantage Hogs (although Noland on three days rest may not be as sharp), but OM would have the edge the following day with Delucia.

Actually think both A&M and Arkansas may win tomorrow. At this rate that probably means they’re both getting blown out.

Looking ahead, how does OM matchup with Oklahoma?

Ha, that's definitely looking ahead.

How does OM matchup with (most likely) Arkansas the next game or two.

How does A&M match up with Oklahoma for the next game or two.

A&M is capable of beating Oklahoma twice.  I am expecting the hogs to come out rolling tomorrow night.

I don’t know that the odds are great but I don’t think you can rule out an A&M vs Arkansas finals once it’s all said and done. Just feel like those two have a lot left in the tank and are going to be difficult to deliver a knockout punch to.

Interesting on the starting pitcher. You OM guys know better regarding the staff. Do you think he is a better match up against Arkansas? Do they struggle more against lefties?
His numbers not bad.

I will hold to my prediction that if Arkansas scores 5 or less runs, OM wins.

Bianco must like him vs lefties then.  He avg's about 1-K and 1 hit per inning and 1 BB every 2.5 innings.  longest outing was 7 inn and  he did throw 32 pitches vs the hogs in 1 game for 2.1 inn and gave up 2 hits but no runs.  If he can go 5 or 6 then the rebs are in decent shape.

I picked Oklahoma vs Arkansas in the final. I HOPE I'm only half correct!

On Gaddis, I read something that stated Arkansas does a tad worse vs lefties, so I suppose that helped lead to Bianco's decision.

Any starter after Delucia/Elliot has been a roll of the dice anyway- seems like a good idea to try Gaddis. I may eat those words in a few minutes...

1-1 in the early innings. So far so good for Ole Miss.

I know you all are going to laugh at this but I have randomly gone back and watched some State baseball games from the last 2-3-4 years and I am so glad that we no longer wear those hideous black uniforms anymore. They were horrible then and I just wanted to gag then and then still want to gag today.

You may now return to your regularly scheduled broadcast.

Arkansas winning without using Noland is potentially huge. Ace vs ace tomorrow I presume, anything can happen. OM’s bullpen is probably in better shape than the Hogs so we’ll see.

I don’t get putting the game at 3 pm whatsoever. It’s the only game of the day, let your sport have the spotlight at night time.

They said on the broadcast they weather is potentially moving in tomorrow evening. So that’s why it is moved up

3-2 final Arkansas, OM/Ark meets again tomorrow.

Best game of the CWS by far.

Well, best game if you don't care about any teams, sucked as an OM fan. Ha

lol.  I was not expecting a 3-2 game. At all.   Tomorrow is anyone’s game and could be 2-1, 12-11, or 14-2 either way.

Just one hit from Gonzalez and that puppy is ours. Crap. Gonzalez, Elko and Graham were a combined 0-11. Not a recipe for success. Gotta be better tomorrow.

The fact that they had such a bad day and we still had a shot to win says how far this team has come this season.

Yep Insider/chaingang, the hitting just wasn't there tonight- I'll add chased too many sliders.

Ole Miss gave up 3 runs on third game pitching tonight, that's typically more than enough this season as game three pitching has been very spotty.

OM was a little to aggressive especially early in game IMO. And OM had some bad luck on a few balls they did hit hard but that is the way the game goes.
