No it’s a live video feed . Last season the link took you to a YouTube platform after you paid. Marshall and kennny are calling it too.

If I couldn’t make it up there , I just looked at it like buying a game ticket. It was actually a better seat than the stadium as the whole field was visible

I believe they wore tribute uniforms recently for one of the Laurel schools from prior to de-segregation.  I think those are what the person was referring to in this case.

Yes they wore them against WC. I’m sorry I can’t remember the school name but I believe the mascot was the Dragons I may be wrong. It was a pretty cool night to be part of, they honor a lot of their band members and  dancers by letting them be involved in the halftime.

From the looks of last night WC has a lot of work to do before region play. I only listened to part of the game, but I heard they had over 250 yards of penalties and struggled to move the ball on Quitman. Although, it seems the real entertainment was in the bleachers.

WC probably be ok. Quitman is always a hard-nosed competitive team and surely were fired up to knock off a 5-A school.

As for the penalties and sloppy play, we all know the old saying that the most improvement happens between games 1 and 2.

Last night was Quitman super bowl. And we escaped with a win.

I got to think this is Vance's seat right now. It's not hot but the flames are getting higher. Matter of fact there are already  rumblings and discontent            Losing Qbs this time of year puts them way behind. They need to be in games getting timing and command of offense Same thing happened last season

You know I’m going to say something about this and it’s probably going to piss some people off but it needs to be said.

Shelton stood on the sideline like a dam garden gnomes for two years as the head coach at Wayne County while the refs didn’t mark off penalties correctly,  chain crews didn’t move the chains to the right spot, play clocks not running for the other team etc, etc. Basically looking bored. 
The other night he couldn’t stay off the field after every play arguing with the refs. He even went into Wayne County’s huddle one time because he thought one of kids mouthed off to him.

I tried to take the high road with him for a long time, That’s over now. I hope he reads this. You sucked while you were the coach here and dam near destroyed what had been built up over the last twenty years. You should take a lesson from Kevin Gandy and not blame other people for your own failures.

Hattiesburg fans want it to be hot. But as far as the administration and the school board goes that seat isnt close to being hot and never will be. He will leave on his own terms. If he wants to coach another 10yrs at HHS he will. If he wants to retire after his son graduates in 2025 he can do that as well.

If Laurel trends down I don't think it has started yet. They were very good last year and look to be better now.

See I figured you would think this way. Short term, pounding your chest after beating a team coached by old ass men that plays like old ass men.  It says something too that you come back on here AFTER the game. You had doubts and would have disappeared if it was a loss.

 

My thought is long term . Not this season. Y’all are still running on fumes from what Breland had developed. Your superintendent ran him off FACT. That’s just two reasons .I could list a lot more but would probably hurt some people. Nevertheless it would be the truth.In a couple of seasons you are going to look back and say I was right to yourself . I give credit where it is due Laurel is the best team in our region right now. We struggled against Quitman. Laurel would have beat them like a drum.
