Yeah that’s about as bad as it gets. They got the #1 spot right, but those other 2A north teams should not be ahead of Heidelberg. Heidelberg should be #2. Scott central should be good because they were a young team last season. I would have them at #5, but I would have Heidelberg and Raleigh in there ahead of them.

West Point not being top 6, but laurel is, is a big joke.  Not sure Madison central deserves top 5, let alone number 3.

They’re not losing to North Panola and West Tally. They’re going to have to rely on Flowers a lot more early in the season until their WR group finds an identity but they’re still gonna be Charleston. Luckily for them they get Clarksdale, Cleveland Central and Winona at home which is a very hard place to go in and win.

I dont see Biggersville repeating with as much star power as they lost from last season, but I also don’t know if Velma Jackson repeats in the south for that same reason. Taylorsville probably has the most talent returning and are probably the favorites in my eyes, but they also are not very deep. They cannot afford any injuries, especially on the OL/DL. Their starting 11 on both sides of the ball will be very good though. What does resurrection have returning?

I agree. Union lost entirely too much to be ranked #2. I wouldn’t even have them in the top five.

It's honestly no different than the two years we played Madison Central.  All those metro Jackson teams get the hype every year.  I just want to see us play a good, clean football game.  It just so happens our opponent is Brandon.  As long as Picayune is the best version of Picayune come August 30th, I'll be just fine with the results.

may start 1-5 then.  ripley has the backup qb who started several games last year, selmon an OL and Brooks, the best player on the team as the only returning starters.  ripley was lucky to beat charleston last year

I think Clinton and Ridgeland may be a little lower than expected. Meanwhile, he has the Raleigh vs Bay Springs  game as canceled. It was moved to Thursday.
