7a Pearls not 2 imo, we’ll see who they hire to lead there program could be a difference maker

Starkville should win it every year with the area they draw kids from.

6a Any of those teams could be 1

5a Holmes County Central nope they get overhyped and out coached every year.

Brookhaven should be top 5 they were really young this year.

4a Quitman nope, I’d throw Kosy, Ripley, Lawrence county or Amory into that other spot

3a Winona loses a ton on both sides they’ll be good but not 3 good, JDC will reload next year

2a pretty accurate could have a dark horse show up like Heidelberg did this year late in the playoffs

1a toss up in this division for me any one of these teams could win it all, 1a is watered down like 5a now but the top teams are pretty good and well coached.

better check and see what ripley and amory lose to graduation.  they will both be down a good bit.  probably insert senatobia, west lauderdale or new albany

Raleigh is losing several starters. Scott central is bringing back a lot. Scott Central and Heidelberg will probably be the early 2A south favorites

Raleigh is bringing a lot back to. Don't count them out. The bracket will play a role. They will probably make the 2nd round. I believe we get Region 7 round 1.

West Point 5th? Who hurt your feelings in WP? 🤣🤣🤣

That’s definitely a little (or a lot) ridiculous, but I reckon he’s never been to Anthony’s before.  They’ve got some life changing food there.  Maybe EBF needs to get out more and experience life.  It’ll be West Point’s to lose, just like it was this year.

I think you meant to say for almost the last decade. He predicts Enterprise to win it all every year yet thinks a school like West Point that has become a football factory will have a drop off. They were suppose to have a drop off after Murphy and Calvert graduated but guys like Harris and Cannon stepped up. In 2020 they had a slight drop off as far as record wise but still avenged one of their early season losses in the playoffs and made the championship game. There always seems to be another Daniels in the waiting at West Point and until another north team makes the state championship game West Point should always be put as the top team in the north.

MC is losing 18 seniors but only 10 starters. Thats probably pretty comparable to most 7A programs. They lost 29 seniors last year. They should be more experienced on the depth chart overall with so many sophomores that played and/or started this season. QB was a question the entire first half of the season. Hopefully another year of strength training and the incoming group will solve that issue one way or the other. Brandon, Oak Grove, and Starkville will reload as usual I'm sure. Meridian had a huge turn around this year. Look for them to make some noise.

You said this in 2017 when we lost 30 seniors including Murphy,  Calvert,  Cherry,  and Brownlee. I see you haven't learned yet.

West Point loses Daniel's Evans and Ewing who were West Point's entire offense this year; why do you think Chambless is leaving? Nobody walks out on a team that's going to repeat as champions. Your run is over.

There’s been rumors Chambliss been thinking of retiring since 2020.  And former West Jones coach Scott Pierson retired last year knowing that WJ had a team with a very legit shot to win not just this year but a couple titles over the next 3 to 5 years.

It doesn't look like WP has any Danels or Evans on next year's team; they lose everybody on offense and even this year's team finished 2nd in district and almost lost to Clarksdale a second time. You can't say West Point will keep winning just because they are West Point;.

They have been to 8 consecutive state title games.  Until they show otherwise you absolutely can say West Point will continue to win

your lil team almost won a few games this year but.......i know the whole team worked out hard in the weight room today so why don't you worry about gettin trashed by jdc or noxubee? your lil team won't make it again

Chambless has been rumored to leave after his son last season of 2018 which was 5 years ago. Is it possible that he's going to retire this time? Of course but like I said previously. IF he's infact done WP will more than likely hire from within. So nothing will be changing. Just like Allen won the state championship in 05 and retired. Chambless was promoted to HC and you kno the rest.

Remember the names Clark and Randle
