First Round

Pascagoula at Hattiesburg

Forest Hill at Picayune

Terry at George Co

Hancock at West Jones.

Picayune will win easily.

Can Terry duplicate in the playoffs with how they played against West Jones or play like they did vs Hattiesburg?

Hancock was fools gold. West Jones probably gets another shutout.

Hattiesburg bounces back if they put the West Jones game behind them.

I almost hope terry can beat George county because west players might get a bit more hyped to prove themselves vs terry. They felt a bit unfulfilled after that game 4 weeks ago.

Y’all won’t have any issues with Hancock.  Making the trip to Picayune for them was just like holding up a mirror for them to look into.  It’ll be the same way next Friday, but at least they’ll see what’s coming.  They won’t be able to do anything about it, but at least they’ll know and not be blindsided.

Picayune JV wins big. Starters get their rest

West Jones walks it out

Terry takes it in a close one. Best game of night

Hopefully our JV will fare a little bit better than they did last week vs. Hancock.  It was a mismatch regardless, but hopefully they'll be able to hold their own tomorrow night.

Terry no shot vs GC. That game vs WJ was fools gold

If I'm correct Picayune as long as they win they will be at home until the South State. Unless West Jones happens to lose then it will be at Picayune.

That’s correct.  If the chalk holds on both ends there, then yes we would have to make the trip to Calhoun in the 3rd round.

In all classifications, when two teams with identical seeding, and when both have hosted the same number of games, the team representing the odd numbered division shall host that playoff game. Usually only applies in south/north state games.

Next year it will revert back to the even numbered division.  It's supposed to alternate every year.

It is not even and odd, it is lower and higher. This year it is lower. If region 1 and 2 were playing , 1 would host. Next year it will be higher number.

You might be correct, but 3 (odd) is always lower than 4 (even) just as 1 is lower than 2. I don’t know which reference the actual rule says, but technically it’s the same.
