Dang.  Long Beach really messed up and screwed up perfection there.  I didn't realize it was a 29 game skid though.  That's definitely an impressive stat. LOL Just kidding though, it's probably good that they get to taste victory again.  Those boys probably busted their tails off to beat Purvis.

What happen to that long beach fan.... runningman67 I think was the name.

I remember when he was touting how awesome d'Iberville was and that he was moving his boys there to play for Dolan and then like a week after he posted that Dolan left for Forrest County lol.

No telling where he's at now. If he's still in Long Beach then he's probably still celebrating with everyone lol

Well MAIS 1A & 2A is still 8 man ball.  Wouldn't school size determine if they could move up to 3A or can they have the smaller school size and opt in to 3A ball?

Any school that wants can play 11 man.  A couple of 8 man teams have played 11 man ball on occasion, like this year with Newton Co Acad vs Sylva-Bay and Columbia Ac vs Christian Collegiate

So do they get grouped into a 3A district or do they have to play an independent schedule?  I’m just asking because I’m not familiar with how things work in the MAIS/MPSA.

Prior to reclassification they have to decide.  If a school goes 11 man they'll be classed according to enrollment. Park Place would be 5A, but play 8 man as a 2A.

Most improved is probably Forest, but Pearl is also massively improved from last year. Seminary gets tested this week, but look much improved so far... Lamar just added a player from a local public school, otherwise they are not back to the Mac Barnes level. Porter's Chapel is undefeated but their competitive part of the schedule is yet to be played
