But I believe it may be: 4A/3A cutoff 324 with Louisville dropping down 3A/2A cutoff is 214 with Clarkdale staying 2A forcing Noxubee, Louisville, or Yazoo County to come south, only 1 of those 3 come south. 2A/1A cutoff i believe is around 145. I believe the numbers MDE puts on their site reflect the October figures from last year and aren't updated during that year. I could be wrong and if so, educate me please. Just remember putting two schools who are maybe five students apart and close to one another geographically in different classes and divisions is done to increase excitement, just like making 7 classes. There is so much more excitement now than before it's impossible to contain (sarcasm). Your correct they were posted on MDE in December 2025. As to the exact date and formula I do not know. Based on last years 7th-10th numbers it looks like Greenville may be the last 7A school. That was the only change I saw there with Meridian and Murrah going down.
