Even if its Laurel losing. None of these games mean anything until region play starts. A lot of excitement around Tracy Lampley returning home to hopefully revive some life into a program he stared for as a player. On the other hand a lot of talk about PRC being really good. I know they are not the wing t PRC . Game will be in Waynesboro let’s see if WC can bring that home field advantage back into play. Looking at it through different glasses though back when this site was really booming different teams were on top and bumped up against each other a good bit. Now a lot of those teams have went through bad spells. I think a lot of those posters left during that time and never came back. With that said a lot of people come here and read but never participate. I remember the day Weems retired, I said on here that Meridian was at a crossroads and depending on the route they took would determine their future. Unfortunately, save for one miraculous season with Marcus Boyles, Meridian has gone in the wrong direction. But man those days when Meridian-Oak Grove and Wayne Co.-West Jones were the biggest rivalries in south Miss. that was when this board was on fire.
