Chunky6617 Posted yesterday at 05:07 PM Share Posted yesterday at 05:07 PM It’s not a terrible list
Dubaction Posted yesterday at 05:26 PM Author Share Posted yesterday at 05:26 PM I’m not mad at the list. Normally Gridiron has a bit of a love fest with Brandon so either the coaches know something the fans don’t (willing to bet this) or they want them to actually prove preseason hype this time around. pancho Posted yesterday at 05:35 PM Share Posted yesterday at 05:35 PM germantown is the first team that comes to mind. I'll be interested to see 1A thru 7A classification rankings as well

They could easily play their way into the top 25.
PigskinPrognosticator
Best rankings I’ve seen. Chris and Brandon are the best. West Jones is a little low. They’ll be a top 8 team by mid October.

Out the gate we get #4 and #17 who just so happen to be the defending state champions of the largest classifications of the MHSAA and MAIS. I don’t recall if that’s ever happened before, but we should be battle tested after two weeks regardless of outcome.
BoKnows08
Kosciusko is another team that I would think would be very close. They are returning a lot from last years team.
pancho
kosy and louisville may be heads and shoulders above all other 4A north teams this year. i'm not sure there are any others near as good as those 2.
Chunky6617
They don’t seem to be as high on Diberville as other rankings are. What all did diberville lose from last season?

What all did diberville lose from last season? A pretty significant portion of their defensive production and a few offensive weapons. However, they will probably have the best player on the field in almost every game they play in the regular season at Quarterback for them so they should be fine. Been told they may not be as good to start the season. Their RB is back but some new kids are going to have step up.

pancho
I have no information anywhere near anything saying that shannon will even be close to the 3rd best 4 a team in the north. provide some info on their personnel as it related to who all they lost from the team last year. Iahs will be improved simply due to being young last year and I hope that shannon is better than houston but am not sure so saying all that, I doubt any team in their region comes close to the 3rd best team in the north. Corinth mite be the best team in the north not called kosy or louisville simply due to returning talent. New Albany will be okay but lost a 4* OT and a 4 yr starting QB and then you have possibly senatobia. other than the teams I just mentioned, there are no others who are really very good at all. Rosa Fort and 4A north might not be that very strong this year like it was last 2 years
