The way things have played out the past month as far as the teams that were in contention I will take Waygu ribeyes, porterhouses, t bones or ground beef in exchange for picking any way you want me to . Keep in mind whoever I pick is almost a lock to fail.
I have already came out and said Hattiesburg would win easily so Vott yall are already kind of on the hook for something to reverse the jinx

Slick I’m with you on this one I’m going Hattiesburg. When Lacy first took the job I really thought HHS had made a mistake. He’s really a good coach in my books he’s better than Vance. Hattiesburg always has some elite athletes this season is no different. I know Warren Central has a really good Quarterback that’s just a JR I believe and he comes from a football bloodline. I hope I don’t jinx anyone lol.

Will be curious to see the crowd support in this one. WC and HHS are equidistant from Davis Wade.

Hattiesburg had an enormous home crowd advantage last year at USM but when it was clear HHS was not performing well in that game, they were almost all gone by halftime. It was sad. They seem to be fair weather fans.

Idk how much the fan support will factor this year though since Davis Wade is such a different environment than “The Rock.” USM’s stadium is definitely a better size for hosting the playoff games. Davis Wade could have 10k fans per side and still feel empty.

Wont be nearly as many as last yr, but it will be a decent crowd for a 3hr trip. If it was on Saturday it would be a great crowd. But the environment will have a different feel due to the size of msu stadium

attendance must have been less than remarkable last night . I don’t.recall them showing any shots of the stadium with people in it .

If it was still at USM I would have went to it today. I had the free time.

They showed one shot of the Brookhaven student section. Only because he had his shirt off. Lol

Is he hurt bad enough to not play or is he thinking of “his future” ?

He had surgery on knee week before the season.  Vott would probably have info but I was told the reason why he swapped from LSU to Tennessee was LSU told him not to play this year and was going to lower the NIL offer.  He didn’t play till a couple weeks before the west jones game and he caught a pass started limping that was it.  Against west jones it was like they used him more as decoy. Tonight he has landed gingerly on that leg a couple times.

He’s obviously not 100%. I’m curious if the surgery was botched, or injury was worse than has been let on they trying to hide it, or he has a mental block now like Deandre brown did for Ian after his leg injury.

It won’t be. But they have a veteran team from my understanding. They’ll have just as much know-how. And they played a pretty good schedule early to prepare for this.

You again ,lol. You were right Dub.  About halfway  through the third you could see Hatt. defensive front wearing down.  Lacey knew it at halftime too. He said they were young and had to get more physical. First time I have ever seen Hattiesburg keep p[aying through adversity. They lost but they give it everything they had.  Good things are ahead with Lacey.

Warren Central is country strong at the line of scrimmage, It was savage in there.

Ive come to accept the fact that ill probably never see a state title. Lol

I think you are wrong . Lacey will win a title with that defensive front before they leave school. He's not like the others
