maroontide06 Posted December 16, 2025 Share Posted December 16, 2025 Call me crazy, but as much as Picayune plays Pascagoula I want Pascagoula to hire someone that will challenge Picayune's coaching staff and give them fits. Picayune has got to get better in pass defense and Pascagoula has the opportunity to get someone that I think in the long run will help both teams. Maybe in 2027 Hattiesburg and Picayune will schedule each other in non region. I know teams from the same class but different regions do not really want to play each other because they could meet in the playoffs. But I'm not thrilled with this hiring process, especially the formation of an idiotic committee in which its membership includes teachers and other district employees. Something just seems off though, but I can't quite put my finger on it. I honestly hope I have this all wrong, but I just sense a regression with Pascagoula now. I think the AD had stars in his eyes and missed on all of them. Green was familiar and a good fallback option but, yes, he better have a good offensive staff in the works.
