In order for a kid that has a concussion to play they have to be cleared by the athletic training team employed by the school district. Every player generally takes a baseline test at the beginning of the season and it is pretty much impossible to lie your way through it. In order for them to be cleared they have to pass the baseline test again (no it’s not the same questions) with at least their original score or higher and they must not exhibit any physical symptoms of a concussion for 48 hours. Being the size school that Brandon is I am going to bet they have all of these procedures in place more than likely through MS Sports and Rehabilitation services. I guess @MagonliaManiac777 was sitting in the tent when “said” player received his diagnosis.

For someone to get on here and make these claims about a coach, an AD, an Athletic Training staff, and even the parent of a child by someone who “heard” and was “told by a fan of another reliable source” that is obviously an OS homer who is scared they might get beat if the QB plays. When you say stuff like this wrecklessly it hurts the kid involved, the coach and family of the coach, trust in training staff (not just at this school), trust in administration (not just at this school).

Call me crazy, but I think PCS can pull it off. I’ve seen Raleigh play twice and they can’t stop the pass. While I do think Raleigh wins, I wouldn’t be surprised if PCS pulls it off

If Raleigh can't stop the pass then they will be in trouble as PCS QB and WR's are good.

Their better at stopping the pass than anyone you have seen.

I didn't say they weren't able to stop the pass. You used the wrong person's post. I only said if they weren't able to then they'd be in trouble. BTW I've seen Gulfport and they're pretty good versus the pass. As is OS and d'Iberville that I've seen

I will rephrase that, Raleigh weakness is the pass. I’ll tell you this though, if your o-line doesn’t come to play, it will be a long night in the backfield. Raleigh is the favorite in 3A but this is one of the games that I’ve been keeping an eye on

I'd say Nox is the 3A favorite they play a big schedule and already beat Heidelberg too Raleigh had problem with Seminary and PCS gone give them a game

Agreed.Raliegh is for real. I think PCS can hang early with them but I think Raleigh is too athletic for them for 4 quarters. Should be a good game

I wouldn’t say they “can’t” stop the pass. They just aren’t as good against the pass as they are the run. And that’s really dependent upon their defensive line. Their best defensive lineman has been a little banged up. He disrupts everything. PCS actually does do a pretty good job with pass protection, but they haven’t played a defense as good as Raleigh’s. Regardless. PCS isn’t very good defensively and Raleigh should be able to score quite a bit. I think Raleigh wins 35-14ish

Not only shame on Brandon, shame on the parents of the child if they allow this to happen. I am sure with the size school that Brandon is that they have their own athletic trainer and he/she wouldnt be that irresponsible and release him from concussion protocol.

Brandon has a widely-known penchant for doing what they want (at all costs to win = thus the BOE mantra). Even when it involves athletes who should not be taking part in competition. They reversed an initial decision last fall and let some students caught drinking at school ((or maybe even drunk 😳)) compete with the rest of their team at a competition after it was determined the team could not win without them. Athletics trumps just about everything else down there. A very sad standard to set for students. But unfortunately, nothing new. Granted, the admin who made that choice is no longer present at BHS as of July 1 of this year (which likely has a lot to do with the lawsuit announced a year ago dating back to the 2022 tragedy) but the culture of “BOE” lives on in infamy…

Terry over Pascagoula .

Because Sms.  Pasc has won a few games. They are due to stumble, If Terry  gets a little bit of breathing room on the scoreboard they can do some damage. RB is a beast but is always on the cusp of breaking one. He can make a run but not the run.

Should have known not to have anything, one way or the other,  depend upon enigmatic Lewis Sims

Picayune can go ahead and punch their ticket to south state. Goula/Hattiesburg is gonna be a slugfest.

It is. Yall got some horses in the front on defense and Pasc has some grown ass men putting their hands in the dirt too.

Buckle your chin strap and stay low. This is going to be a dogfight.
