booneville ain't no good and aberdeen ain't either if they can't win that game.  Falkner ain't good either. Coahoma county won't beat Noxubee either.  All the teams with a pulse beat coahoma bad this year.   game mite not be close.  starkville will give Tupelo all they want and Tupelo better get a lead and keep it early.  Northside at Baldwyn could go either way but not sure if it could be called an upset.

Not sure if many think it's an upset, but I think New Hope will beat Holmes County.

Coahoma County will give Noxubee a game and that game Coahoma County, yea Starkville will give Tupelo run for their money and Tupelo better not overlook them if they do they gonna be in a heavyweight dog till 2nd half

I honestly would not consider this an upset. Mize has a very solid team. Wesson played arguable the biggest cupcake schedule in the state. Mize winning is not an upset.

Mize also has a very inconsistent team that has had a huge problem protecting the ball. Wesson didn’t play the strongest schedule, but they also didn’t have many close games either. So they were blowing most of these teams out like you would expect. Offensively they look really good on film. Their QB is a good looking athlete. He can make some plays. 
 

I think Clarkdale is going to beat Amite County. That’s my upset pick.

Im not even sure that would be an upset either. Yalls region was pretty stout and have yall ready for this time of the year.

I considered that but I'm not sure Houston has improved enough over the last 4 or 5 games to accomplish that.  Houston is much better than they were early on.

- New Albany will give Louisville a scare but Louisville will prevail

Because Sms.  Pasc has won a few games. They are due to stumble, If Terry  gets a little bit of breathing room on the scoreboard they can do some damage. RB is a beast but is always on the cusp of breaking one. He can make a run but not the run.

My upset pick for 7A South this week would be NWR over Gulfport 

 

For 7A North, I’ll take Madison Central over Horn Lake (which is “technically” an upset based on seeding, but a 2-3 can always go either way).

Mine is Houston over Clarksdale

If Houston play like they did last week and keep the game close they will upset Clarksdale I will say this Clarksdale did struggle with Yazoo City last week in the 1st half and led Yazoo City at half 12-6 if Clarksdale struggle with Houston like they did against Yazoo City Clarksdale will lose and Houston more athletes than Yazoo City are

This calls for serious matters: I have heard a rumor from a very trustworthy source that Brandon is playing their QB after being taken out of last weeks game for a concussion... how is this even legal? If we do not stop this madness we are going to have kids everywhere running around like that Antonio Brown fella! Shame on you Brandon if true. They said this kid has had multiple concussions this year. From the little I see on film he's good but not what they have had, that OS defense is about to wreak havoc tonight. Give me OS 31-21.

Brandon has dealt with a lot of adversity this year and everyone knows they are one of the more if not the most talented team in the state (other than Tupelo). If they figure it out then I believe they can make a run at it

Not only shame on Brandon, shame on the parents of the child if they allow this to happen. I am sure with the size school that Brandon is that they have their own athletic trainer and he/she wouldnt be that irresponsible and release him from concussion protocol.
