Not exactly what I was looking for.

With spring in full swing, who are the new names that people need to start taking notice of.

Most kids move to private schools because they do not want to have to compete. Notice I said most not all. In some cases it is for a better school situation for the kid but more times than not it happens because mom and dad don't think their kid is getting what they think they should.

Just a rumor I heard. I have no idea.

I guess your right. I just don't get it. If you can play they will find you.

Also some people are just not meant to be college athletes. Have fun in high school. Genetics mean an awful lot as well

I would also like to add to this and it may hurt some feelings, but if you are beaten out of a starting spot in high school maybe you should just work harder. College guys get word that a guy is scared to compete and will jump ship.

I don't disagree with some of your statement at all. In some cases it makes sense for family to move for jobs and things of that nature. I'm talking strictly for football, picking up and moving. I also don't know why a kid that has 15 D1 offers needs to move to another place to prove himself if he already has the exposure and can pick his place (like the kid at quitman). I can also see if your moving to a better school in general, but some of these guys are leaving top academic schools to go try and play ball based off of recommendations from 7v7 coaches that play games with kids as a hobby. Everyone blows my mind but it just looks like the transfer portal in college has trickled down and NIL is next.

What's with kids moving schools these days? I remember when I was a kid that we had pride in playing for the community we grew up in. Also, how can a family decide they are just going to up and leave for dang high school football. Blows my mind because they have to physically move for it all to workout.

Higdon would be a great hire but he went to heidleburg academy not quitman and i dont see his his family moving that way since his wifes family is here and his children go to PCS. I see him taking over at JDC in the future.

I do not know this Brady guy so if you dont mind what is his story and what would make him a good hire for a 7A program.

I wouldn't judge fortenberry off of his richton job many years ago. Not just overloaded with talent there and im sure he has grown as a coach since then. Know nothing about the Hood guy, he may be a great hire. Wouldnt touch the other with a 10 ft pole. Every job I have heard of him having has ended badly somehow.
