That’s true. Not taking away from Simmons because they are a really good team. I think they have a good chance at a South State championship repeat. I’m just curious to see how they perform going on the road 2 and a half hours to Nanih Waiya. They came out of Lumberton victorious last season after a long road trip. Can they do it again? Should be interesting

Doubt many predicted Neshoba Central @ Ridgeland 2nd round. Ridgeland won the regular season matchup two weeks ago 43-37.

Defense is not played in region 1-6A. I been saying it all year. The schemes are laughable. They either line up in base defense every play and never substitute anyone or they blitz 8 and leave one uncovered and hope who they playing don’t guess right. 
 

Then Lake Cormorant will have 8 kids sign Division 1 LOI’s and walk around all night and just enough to win until they play someone they can’t do that with.

I had one like that. FSU commit as a JR.

Took his Senior season off. Half-butting every play.

FSU rescinded his offer.

Raleigh 34-28. 3 touchdowns called back by probably the worst refs ever against Raleigh.  Everytime we ran for big yardage the hankeys came flying.

1-6a was awful this year. Grenada was down, lake cormorant didn’t have a QB, south Panola didn’t have a clue. Overall region was weak
