South Jones @ Enterprise historic game 1st meeting between Enterprise and SJ and the first 5A football team Enterprise has ever played I have little hope we can win this game we are young and have some starters out and are a little banged up; but it will be a good test for our young team and get us ready for a very tough district.

It’s crazy how your narrative from the beginning of the season about Enterprise being big, fast and physical with a good bit of returning starters has changed to y’all are a young team since things haven’t panned out the way you thought early on.

You hit nail on the head @NoWammies. Everything gets put into perspective when you are humbled for one reason or another.

Enterprise is still big and fast South  Jones will beat most 2A teams when get some starters back and get some experience Enterprise will be force to reckon with in class 2A.

They usually struggle against  Heidelberg,  Bay Springs,  and Mize. They have struggled against Clarkdale in recent years.

I think they struggle against all 4 this year. Only game I see them potentially winning out of the 4 is maybe Mize. They won’t be able to move the ball against Bay Springs or Heidelberg, and I don’t think they will be able to stop Clarkdale’s offensive attack.

If only there was a place you could go to to see the games and see if that’s factual. Oh wait there is. Y’all have a couple guys with size but I have yet to see this speed you speak of. Every year you say this and every year Enterprise loses to teams that are athletic and actually have speed. Case in point Union this year. WR’s had steps on the secondary all night and runs to the outside were getting big gains. QB for Union was a cloud of dust on the keepers.

I promise you Enterprise is not beating all 4 teams this year

Right now with all our injuries we would not beat any team on our region but we could be a completely different team in a month; I wouldnt want to be Mize on Oct 30. Enterprise is going to be a battle-hardened team by then and if we get some of our key people back we could be tough. Playing strong teams makes you better and we play the best 2A team in the state Friday.

The worst team we will play all season is Taylorsville. We have arguably the 2nd hardest schedule in 2A after Heidelberg. We will be more battle hardened than Enterprise will.

Enterprise's schedule is arguably as tough if not tougher than Mize's week one opponent Mize Taylorsville Enterprise Stringer about equal week two Enterprise SE Lauderdale Mize PCS Mize tougher week three Enterprise Union Mize Magee Enterprise tougher week four Mize Raleigh Enterprise North Forrest Mize tougher week five Enterprise South Jones Mize Newton Co Enterprise tougher and we have a better opponent Friday than Mize does.

Lol. That’s not how strength of schedule works dude. It’s not determined on a week by week comparison. It’s the entire schedule as a whole. I don’t know if you are aware of this, but since we are in the same district, our district schedule is exactly the same. Yes, you do play Heidelberg this week. And guess who we play next week….. that’s right, Heidelberg. Our non conference schedules are night and day different.

Your non-conference schedule is Taylorsville, South Jones, Union, Stringer, SE Lauderdale, and North Forrest.

Our non-conference schedule is Taylorsville, PCS, Magee, Raleigh, Newton County, and Lamar Academy.

Raleigh > or = South Jones

Lamar > Union

PCS > Taylorsville

Newton Co > Stringer

Magee > North Forrest

Taylorsville > SE Lauderdale

There is no comparison to be made bro. Everyone of our non-conference games are tougher. It’s not even close.
