Reynolds is a solid hire. Been apart of one of the best programs in Mississippi for a few years now and knows what it takes to win. He played with Bubba Davis then coached with him for years in Alabama and Petal. Then he was with Marcus Boyles a couple of times at Petal. Before heading to OG and coach Causey. Yes, Reynolds did some positive things at South Jones, but he had a running back with NFL talent and the expectations there were not very high. Totally different level of expectation at West Jones. No I wasn’t surprised about Bud. Me and Slick were talking the other day we both think as long as the defensive staff stays intact this will be a good move. Most of the staff from Pierson stayed put. OC Bud blackledge announced he was retiring 2-3 days after Reynolds was made official and the O line Coach went to lake to be OC. If PRC makes the playoffs it’s essentially by default. If they somehow manage to screw up a deadlocked 80% chance at making the playoffs, they can send Coach Jacob II (the second) back to Alabama LOL!
