This is Hattiesburg most complete team in some years maybe 7 years. As for so called shenanigans I know some people despise Vance, but none of the things he does is a secret and he will tell you.

I certainly hope it's a complete team Deonte and you're absolutely correct.  Nothing he does is a secret LOL!  I've seen it with my own two eyes, so yes it's definitely not a secret.  I'm ready for some football.  Are you going to make it to any Purvis or Hattiesburg games this year?

I won’t make it to any of Purvis games this year. I plan to attend 4 Hattiesburg games this season: Petal, Laurel, PRC, WJ and possibly Terry. And all of the potential playoff games. That’s my “plan”.

Nobody is crowning WJ. They finally beat a respectable team 5 weeks in. They’re good though. Really good. I do think Picayune needs to get Davis back this year to get back to state though. He’s so good on both sides of the ball and they clearly miss him. I also think Hattiesburg and GC will be tough outs though. They just had a classic and are two good teams. Lots of football left to be played

I think its Picayunes to lose if the running back can come back at 100%. Either way it'll be those 2 in south state. No clue about how the northern part of the state is shaping up though

The North is a dang smokescreen.  Hopefully we’ll get some clarity on the North once we get into the latter meat of district play.  Until then it’s anybody’s guess.

And Picayune needs to clean up the fumbles and the penalties.  Oh and our secondary needs to get waaaay better.  Hopefully we can get healthy enough to check off those boxes.

I’m coming around to thinking that Hancock might actually make a little noise in their district. I know that their schedule hasn’t been as tough as some, but they beat the teams that showed up, and now have a chance to prove themselves. Good QB play might get them a second or third playoff seed.

They struggled to beat Florence, yes they did beat them, but if that is your toughest opponent thus far what is there to gauge them?  They definitely are a playoff team in our district, but how they fare against Pascagoula, George County and West Harrison will give a clearer picture there.

It certainly looks like it Hattiesburg and West Jones in 3-6A. I think Terry could be dangerous if you don't

show up ready to play. WJ will see them this Thursday. As for WJ, there needs to be a focus on cutting down

the penalties on offense. 10 against JP and the offense right now is just not good enough to over come that many

against the better teams. As for the North, it appears that West Point is starting to find their way again, and

will probably find their way all the way to Oxford.

The game against JP was the most penalized west has been this year.  Which is not surprising given who the head official was.  He’s known to be fairly biased against west and he brags about it in his social circles. I believe coach p had tried to have him barred from officiating games with west years ago.  And honestly he shouldn’t being he is a west graduate.  But due to them not having enough officials he gets them from time to time.

West Point is 5A and I think West Harrison could be a dangerous team coming out of 4-6A.

Terry ain’t a bad ball club. They have 2 losses to a pretty good Vicksburg team and 7a Clinton. They’ll provide at least some kinda resistance.

If Terry coaches had better clock management they would have beat Clinton for sure. They were definitely better than us up until the 4th were the coaching gap kinda showed. Which is why we even won tbh.
