Every school is going to be getting robbed or robbing someone else unless the schools figure out a way to collectively pull the reins in somewhat going forward. When Vandy is beating Alabama and Auburn in the same year, don’t tell me State can’t get to at least that level of making bowl games and fielding solid teams again. It’s pretty simple…. State has not hired well at head coach for the most part since Mullen left. And the jury is still out on if they’ve now made two inadequate AD hires in a row. Bulldogs4 Posted December 13, 2024 Share Posted December 13, 2024 Winning breeds winning as does losing. Kiffin has Ole Miss riding a wave right now while State is under the swell. Money is important but kids also want to play on a winning team. With the 2025 Schedule that is going to be a tough task for State. If you thought the season hurt your heart just wait until we have three guys drafted in the 1st round and five in the 1st two rounds like projected. If you’re a DB transfer, which we have two top ten guys in town now, you might wanna eye Ole Miss though because of Amos this year. On the depth chart at Bama and now an All SEC 1st team projected 1st rounder. It’s crazy how couple years ago we were hoping we could stop offenses because our offense was so explosive but defense couldn’t stop anyone. When Golding came, I’m sure like you heard, he was a bum. That dude has us as one of the top defenses and a place for a defensive player to come. Now we can’t seem to strike out in the portal when it comes to defensive guys. Surprisingly it was our offense that let us down this year and that was the last thing I worried about coming into the season.
