NoWammies
Had a couple things happen yesterday so added this thread. As weeks go on we can just use this for weekly updates. 1. Billy Napier will remain Florida’s coach after this season. So much for Kiffin to the Gators. He has done a good job the last few weeks being down to his 3rd QB. Played both Tennessee and Georgia close. Good thing to go ahead and get this out of the way with the stretch they have coming up. 2. USC’s Dylan Stewart has as an opening NIL asking price of 1.5 million for next year. Will he remain at USC or will we see him in the portal? Everything I’ve read has USC negotiating a deal to keep him. The new college football as we know it. 3. Johntay Cook a former 5 star WR is no longer with Texas as of yesterday. Ole Miss, Georgia and Oregon have already reached out to him.

A college player making more than most NFL players make in a season… The death knell of college football as we have known it will happen over the next decade if this continues like it is right now.
pancho
I heard that the Tennessee QB was injured. Any follow up on the severity? They go to Athens next week.
NoWammies
Right now Huepel is saying he should be ready to go next week. Prob won’t really hear anything about it until around Wednesday.
NoWammies
*Florida State HC Mike Norvell has fired his Offensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator, and WR coach. Can’t say I didn’t see some firings coming.

NoWammies
Ole Miss going around flipping recruits today and now favored to flip Caleb Cunningham. Also Deuce Knight but I don’t see that happening with what Simmons did. Crazy what a big win can do.
pancho
What's Cunnunghams asking price up to this week?
NoWammies
I read somewhere 415K but I’d take that as 1% truth cuz I can’t even remember where I saw it at.

NoWammies
Mississippi College is doing away with football after this season. It’s also being renamed Mississippi Christian University.
s1nglewing
Apparently an Alabama player lost all of his mind and is now off the team.

What’s wrong with trying to get with your head coach’s daughter? Golding and Sunseri were his main recruiters to Bama so good chance he ends up at Ole Miss. rebmus
Which Alabama player? Is he good? Is it a position of need for Ole Miss?
NoWammies
Keanu Koht. He was a 5 star edge out of high school and played limited time this year at LB. Hasn’t really lived up to his 5 star ranking. Right now he’s listed as the #4 transfer in the portal.
NoWammies
Also good chance we land Jeheim Oatis from Bama who is currently the #1 transfer. Former Columbia Wildcat chose Bama over Ole Miss on signing day. Him and Harris next year would make for one huge run stuffing DL.
NoWammies
I’m the words of George Costanza “Was that wrong? Should I have not done that? I tell you I gotta plead ignorance on this thing because if anyone had said anything to me at all when I first started here that that sort of thing was frowned upon, you know, cause I’ve worked in a lot of offices and I tell you people do that all the time.”
NoWammies
Well Bryce Underwood took the 10M Michigan offered him and flipped from LSU. Big loss for LSU.
Bulldogs4
Not really. Michigan is paying $10 million to a high school kid who currently plays or just completed high school football. Let that sink in. Great deal for him. He is set for life now.
MSTSatchmo
OM at 14 had a chance. They probably need TN and Bama both to lose, but you never know.

See I think the Clemson-SC winner is in a stronger spot than OM. But either way you’re taking small chances. All the teams that are in “win and in” spots are double digit favorites this weekend. And the teams on the outside need multiple of them to lose. Edited November 27 by Dawg83
Bulldogs4
Rivalry weekend can be bizarre some years. And anything is possible but as 83 noted a number of the Rivalry games look to be one sided this weekend which is not good news for Ole Miss. We will see how it unfolds. Not just the two playing. Bama and OM do just have a slim chance, but two teams that were double digit favorites (those two ironically) with the playoffs on the line blew it last week, so you never know. Lots of playoff implications the final week of the season.
