Yea… trying to compare the two teams in this scenario isn’t very smart. Meridian played OG close last year and OG still beat Brandon. We’re a lot like USC style wise. Score at will on offense and thankfully the defense has gotten just enough stops when it matters. It’ll probably have to continue to be that way.

Definitely not injuries. At this point I just don’t think we’re very tough up front defensively. Borderline soft really. These new gen babies don’t like to wrap up so you see a lot of arm tackling if you pay attention. Hopefully we can just keep outscoring everyone. That’s the only way we’re gonna win a title this year

I’m still not sold on Gulfport I can’t get over how they looked against us in the jamboree. It’s a jamboree but…. I know typical coast football when I see it. Maybe I’m wrong. I’d pick Ocean Springs to win that game right now.

West Jones is damn good man. One of the better D lines I’ve seen this year. Only question I have is can that QB win it in a tight game against the better teams they’ll play next month. I’m not that crazy about their QB play but everything else is there.

Warren Central and South Panola apparently are the two best teams in 6A North right now. I’m gonna have to go watch some of their replays this week to really judge for myself. I caught a little bit of WC earlier this year. Also Lake Cormorant is 6-0 right now. Don’t know how good they really are. But there are some good teams in the North this year.

Nah…I prefer real victories over moral ones. I do think they did get big headed especially going into the Hattiesburg and MRA games and those close games were beneficial and delivered some much needed adversity.

Terry ain’t a bad ball club. They have 2 losses to a pretty good Vicksburg team and 7a Clinton. They’ll provide at least some kinda resistance.
