I disagree. Gulfport doesn’t have any bad losses and were pretty competitive in all 3 of them from what I saw. Although I wasn’t impressed with them at the start of the year during jamboree week they turned out to be better than I expected. I think it’ll be a close game.

Idk how bad that fight was so maybe I’m speaking out of turn…but the fact the kids got suspended for an entire season for a fight is exactly why it should have been handled internally

I like how OG responded this week.. especially on the defensive side of the ball. The front 7 finally looked like all the D1 talent we supposedly have. Made some adjustments that should hopefully carry us into the post season.

You do know Pearl is actually pretty good right? They only beat a 2 win Pearl team by a couple of scores a year ago. Ya just never know.

Not really. I still think we have more offensive weapons than Brandon. But they are and were much tougher than us defensively. Which was my main concern.

The first 8 minutes lost it. Flea flicker, onside kick , and a bad kick off by us. Looked up we’re down 17-0 in the first Q and fighting from behind the rest of the way. Had chances to take back over the game and just didn’t execute and got out played. It is what it is

They’ve lost to… Tupelo by 2 NWR who’s only loss is to OS and one could argue they should have won that particular game . NWR that is. Warren Central. The only iffy loss but WC doesn’t have any bad losses themselves. They’re tough. Medicore is definitely a strong word. They just played a really tough schedule.

Madison Central isn’t mediocre.

Strengths and weaknesses change every year. Both teams tend to reload for the most part. Say what you will about our D. We have more offensive weapons than Brandon and it’s not even close tbh.

Spot on. Usually how OG/Brandon games go. And like Bandman said… very rarely do the games get into the high 30s and 40s. 4 scores will usually win it.
