  1. I hate to say it but State is about a year away from having a dynamic WR room with most of them being in state prospects. Sanfrisco Magee is going to be a hidden gem IMO, I believe y’all also wind up getting Burnside from Starkville then one of the top WR’s in next years class with Caleb Cunningham from Choctaw County who will eventually be playing on Sundays.
  2. They were considering the draft which I found kinda odd cuz Harris prob would’ve been a mid rounder possibly 3rd round and I don’t even think Dart would’ve been drafted. I do think Dart has a great opportunity to up his draft stock now with what is returning. It’s a wait and see on Harris cuz his numbers might not be high with Dart spreading the ball around to everyone. Especially if Juice Wells also signs. I’ve never understood why some guys declare for the draft knowing it’s a good chance they’ll be late round picks and possibly undrafted. With that being said tho I still don’t think Dart has officially announced he’s returning yet but he’d be crazy not to. I believe he is cuz why else would all these guys be returning without them secretly knowing something we don’t yet?
  3. Micah Pettus announced today he’s returning which is huge for the OL and the news most have been patiently waiting on happened earlier and that is Tre Harris is returning!!! #1 transfer player Walter Nolen visiting this week. If Ole Miss pulls that one off I’m going to need bail money from streaking through The Square.
  4. There were times this year when Ole Miss was down to just their #3 and #4 WR’s and the offense didn’t look the same. Depth at that position would be a good thing. I agree about the OL and defense but that’s coming in the next few days as well.
  5. Caden Prieskorn announced today he’s returning for his final season. That’s another big piece on the offensive side of the ball returning. This comes a day after Jordan Watkins announced he’s returning. Only two left to worry about now is Judkins and Harris.
  6. I knew it would be a battle but I’m glad I was wrong on the outcome. Def tried to give it away down the stretch with some sloppy play and poor foul shooting. 33% from the line in last minute and half plus four turnovers in the last 50 secs. Gotta get better not allowing second chance points. UCF dominated the offensive rebounds grabbing 18 almost tripling Ole Miss’ total. Eliminate those and this could’ve been a comfy double digit win. Lucky to get out of there with the W but a win is a win especially on the road as +3.5 underdog.
  7. I set in The Pavilion last year and watched an average UCF team dominate Ole Miss in every aspect of the game so this game will see how they’ve turned it around from that. Is State a bad team since they lost to Southern?
  8. Because it’s the same team that bout lost to Detroit, Sam Houston and struggled against Mt St. Mary’s and Alabama St. I wanna see how they respond first time back on the road after a big win that’s lifted expectations because they played flat against Mt St. Mary’s.
  9. I have a feeling Ole Miss picks up their first L today. If they win I’ll start being optimistic about this group and start buying in.
  10. It also appears that “Juice” Wells could possibly be signing with Ole Miss. That would be a huge addition to the WR group depending on how he has healed from injury.
  11. I could see him going to Michigan since that’s where he’s from. I kinda figured he’d end up at some Big 10 school closer to home.
  12. I’m surprised State doesn’t try to grab Dante Moore from UCLA.
  13. I could be wrong but I think Cam ends up at Ohio St.
  14. Yesterday Ole Miss landed the #1 LB in the portal adding Chris Paul Jr. from Arkansas. The main focus needed to be on defense and so far Kiffin is doing that.
  15. I doubt State lands DJ either cuz he looks like more a lean towards FSU and could you blame him? There he could stick it to Clemson. All signs show McCord going to Nebraska unless something surprising happens.
  16. It’s basically becoming a salary cap thing now where you gotta say I gotta let this kid go to save money to where I can keep these other guys plus sign another.
  17. I know I’m in the minority here but if I’m going to dish out 1M I say let Judkins go, make Bentley the prime RB and spend that money on hoping you could land 5 star DT transfer Walter Nolen from A&M.
  18. It happened on the Netflix series Titletown High. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/29893046/the-star-college-football-recruit-parents-unusual-decision-cross-country-move
  19. If not Gabriel, the QB portal is loaded right now. This is a stout list of guys with lots of experience. Kyle McCord-Ohio State Dillon Gabriel-Oklahoma Dante Moore-UCLA Cameron Ward-Washington State Will Howard-Kansas State Riley Leonard-Duke DJ Uiagalelei-Oregon State Aidan Childs-Oregon State(crystal ball Michigan St) Grayson McCall-Coastal Carolina
  20. It is long overdue but Deion Smith is a Rebel!!! Comes same day that Wade declares for the draft so perfect timing.
  21. Wonder if Olumuyiwa Fashanu, Chop Robinson, Johnny Dixon and Kalen King decide to opt out of the bowl. If so that would decimate Penn State’s defense losing Robinson and Dixon who are projected 1st rounders and King an early 2nd rounder. Fashanu being a top 15 pick I can see him opting out which will put a hole in their OL.
  22. I think you meant to say for almost the last decade. He predicts Enterprise to win it all every year yet thinks a school like West Point that has become a football factory will have a drop off. They were suppose to have a drop off after Murphy and Calvert graduated but guys like Harris and Cannon stepped up. In 2020 they had a slight drop off as far as record wise but still avenged one of their early season losses in the playoffs and made the championship game. There always seems to be another Daniels in the waiting at West Point and until another north team makes the state championship game West Point should always be put as the top team in the north.
  23. Being an Air Force guy I’ll be interested to watch Air Force/JMU. Some other games I like are A&M/OK State in Houston cuz that should be a good crowd, Arizona/Oklahoma, Missouri/Ohio St, Georgia/FSU depending on how many guys don’t opt out and call me crazy but Liberty/Oregon hoping for a Boise St/Oklahoma type outcome. I would say Duke/Troy but not sure how well Duke will be with interim coach. I’m kind of surprised an 11 win SMU team that just beat Tulane who would’ve been in a NY6 bowl with a win only got the Fenway Bowl in pretty much a home game for Boston College.
  24. We’ll have to meet up somewhere. I’m bringing my 6-0 bowl record with me so maybe I’m the lucky charm.
  25. Yup just bought my tickets. Going to be in Section 132
