That’s what scares me about Purdue tomorrow because they looked real good in their win against Bama.

I hate to say it but the team I’ve most been impressed with is Auburn. They look scary good. They already have wins against 3 ranked teams plus easily beat a good Memphis team. Got another chance for a ranked win this coming up Wednesday against Duke. They’re a complete team that can beat you from inside or out. Broome and Cardwell are going to give almost every team a tough time down low.

Ole Miss has a very tough 2 game stretch coming up with #13 Purdue tomorrow then has to stay on the road to take on a good Louisville team that just won the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament beating a ranked Indiana team yesterday and West Virginia today. West Virginia just had a big win against #3 Gonzaga yesterday. I watched Louisville against Indiana and they controlled that game from the start. They’ve got five guys that can easily put up double figures in points. This stretch should give us a good understanding of what kind of team we have. I was skeptical leading up to today but I liked what I saw in the 2H and OT. Murray put the team on his back in the 2H on his way to career high 28 points.

I’m not falling for the reverse psychology and I’m going to uno reverse it to I’m sure Ole Miss will lose this game.

12-12 shooting from the FT line in OT helps Ole Miss pick up a 96-85 OT win against a dangerous shooting veteran BYU squad. Started off slow and was getting beat on the boards early on but surprisingly going to a smaller lineup helped out. Got a big one tomorrow against a good Purdue team.

If I had a dollar for every live game I watched from someone in the stands videoing and you being able to hear bleacher coaches complaining about a call from the ref that was actually the right call or what they would’ve done as the coach I wouldn’t have to work. I seriously doubt the refs who have no affiliation with WL went into halftime, looked at each other and said alright it’s 16-0 Shannon. It won’t look like the fix is in now if we start favoring WL. Maybe one team just went into half and made some good halftime adjustments.

The losing team’s fans blaming the refs has become like the boy that cried wolf.

Wonder if the Ole Miss defense has to prepare for Mario Craver this week or is he still in Lebby’s doghouse? Looks like we’ll be without Harris and possibly Watkins as well with him dealing with a hamstring injury. That’s a big hit to the WR group. I expect to see a good bit of Ayden Williams if so.

I’ve been pulling for y’all this season so EBF can eat his preseason words saying y’all would be down this year with the coaching change knowing dang well West Point is gonna West Point. However since my buddy coaches Cleveland Central, I gotta pull for the Wolves in this one. Both teams can’t afford to have the 1H they played last week and expect to pull off a come from behind victory again. Cleveland Central actually struggled for 3.5 quarters. They def can’t afford to do that cuz yalls type of offense eats clock and they won’t have as many chances as they did against Canton. Should be a good one. Good luck to y’all and safe travels.

Shannon blew a 16-0 halftime lead. A 17 point lead with 5 mins left in the 3rd. Was outscored 14-0 in 4Q. Failed to convert on 4th down late in 4Q that would’ve sealed the game. Let West Lauderdale march down the field 92 yards in 1:20 and failed to defend a 45 yard Hail Mary as time expired. Prob need to look at someone else at fault instead of the refs.

I’ve seen folks say Dart should sit and we give Simmons reps for the future. I think that’s a dumb idea but we prob will see that during the bowl. Dart will play this game because he has a record to break. I’m sure we’ll never see Tre Harris again on the field. Hopefully no one opts out for the Egg Bowl but I’m pretty sure we’ll have a bunch for the bowl.

Anything can happen in the Egg Bowl so I’m not chalking it up as a win just yet. I still remember in 2014 a one legged Bo Wallace without his WR1 & WR2 ruining State’s chances for the BCS. Nobody gave Ole Miss a chance in that one especially since lost to Arkansas 30-0 the week prior. We’ll see what these guys are made of Friday. I’m still not sure what to think about Texas but I do think they have the defense that contain Reed’s running ability. Ewers is coming into the game expected to play but will be hobbled so that’s something we’ll have to take into consideration. I’m going to go with Texas 24-21 with a last sec FG. If Georgia plays like they did against UMASS early this could be a ballgame. I think it’ll be close in the 1H but Georgia pulls away in 2H. I’ll take them 34-17. Vanderbilt has been a great turnaround story this year but I think Tennessee will just be too much. That defensive front should be able to get to Pavia. Tennessee 31-20. I like South Carolina to beat Clemson 28-24. Bama 32-17. Missouri 38 Arkansas 14. Oklahoma 28-27.

Good thing you’re not me then. We have the SEC leader in passing and three guys in the top ten of receiving. Dropped TD passes yesterday isn’t considered not being on the same page. Juice still not realizing it’s better to use two hands besides just one isn’t considered not being on the same page. Again I’m more worried about our RB situation/play calling where we have to use a DL constantly on 4th and 1’s when we have a guy that can pick it up without the gimmick but had 0 carries. I’m more worried about why our play calling has Dart as the lead blocker on one of those runs where you have the before mentioned DL trying to stretch it to the outside. I’m more worried that a kid like Shekai Mills-Knight who will be a 3 year starter soon as he arrives on campus sees how our RB’s are used and decides to flip elsewhere

A day removed and I’m still scratching my head as to why our WR5 had 11 carries yesterday and UBIV had 0. Also hopefully when I get off the boat in 3 weeks and drive by Charlie Weis Jr’s house it has a for sale sign on it. Kevin Smith’s as well. Bring back Derrick Nix!!

Nope 4 way tie with those three and Iowa St. I was somewhat watching it and heard announcer say even if BYU/Colorado lost they still wouldn’t control their own destiny. Idk what’s going on.
